You don’t have to be a country fan or even listen to country music to have heard of the famous Patsy Cline. Virginia Patterson Hensley was born in 1932. She had begun her singing career strictly within the country genre and had eventually crossed over to pop. At the time, she was one of the first artists in the country scene to even do something like that. Patsy Cline is one of the most influential artists of our time.
She had many famous hits that reached number one on Billboard Hot Country and Western Sides charts. Some of her favorite hits include, “Walkin’ After Midnight,” “I’ve Loved and Lost Again,” and of course, the one most people know, “Crazy.”
Her voice was so unique it set her apart from many
Patsy had an amazingly unique voice that set her apart from other vocalists. It still had that country twang, but most importantly it was paried with a smoothness that would make anyone fall in love with her voice. Many have tried to recreate many of her famous hits, including “Crazy,”, but with tall shoes to fill not many have succeeded.

You look quickly you can almost see Casi being a reincarnated or modern-day Patsy Cline. Even though she might have red hair, there’s something about her energy that radiates familiarity.

If you were to try closing your eyes and listen to Casi’s cover, you might think you’re listening to Patsy. The resemblance in vocal tone is something you just can’t ignore. Casi has that same twang and silky voice that’s impossible for artists to recreate.
