Folks are savvy when they want to get your goods, so you need to be creative as well. But there’s such a thing as too creative.
We’re not sure what these 45 people were thinking, but we’re a little concerned about their logic – and we sure hope they have insurance!
1. Creative safety gear
It’s a good idea to be safe when working with power tools. However, we’re not sure if this substitutes as suitable vision protection.
Wearing a plastic bucket on your head probably does more harm than good.
2. Trust lock

Sure, the wheel won’t turn, but that’s never stopped a criminal before.
7. Pajama Washing Instructions

We’re not sure if it is ingenious or just plain crazy.
10. Horn Covers

11. Sleeping on the job
The security guard put up a life-size photo of an alert security guard with a shotgun in front of him so he could take a nap.
We’re sure that no one will notice. It looks very realistic.
12. Well-Protected Spoon
Why else would anyone attach a spoon to a long chain like this?
13. Poorly Placed Sign
However, when the sign blocks the entire bike lane, it’s not really helping.
Now the cyclists have to swerve into the traffic lane to avoid it.
14. Polaroid security camera
It points to an old Polaroid camera attached to the roof.
There are definitely a few issues with the setup.

It’s the curious goat – and he looks pretty friendly.
27. Truck Security
We wonder what would happen if they forgot to undo it before driving.
28. Sketchy entrance
One way to keep people from entering a door is to install it off of the ground in the middle of a wall. Although, it also makes it hard to exit the building through it.
If you aren’t careful, you could end up falling multiple stories.
29. Lock Illusion
Someone in the office has too much time on their hands. The boss had better increase their workload!
30. Hanging High
The only problem is how they are going to get it down if they ever want to ride it. It seems like a big hassle.

32. Useful Gate
But not this gate. It’s just decorative.
33. Thief-Proof Case
Not even the windows can be accessed.
34. Team Effort
It’s one of the most dangerous things that we’ve ever seen.
35. Visible Door Code
It doesn’t make much sense, but really, most of these security fails don’t make much sense…

38. Wooden Electric Fence
It’s unlikely that it’s going to deter many criminals.

Texting while walking can be just as dangerous as texting while driving.
41. Extra Safe
Using the standard locking mechanism of the car is just not secure enough.
42. Secure toilet paper
