As Christmas approaches by the minute, there are many stories emerging of people getting into the spirit.

The day after Thanksgiving is known as Black Friday and typically, it is the time of year (at least in the U.S.) that people will line up hours before a store opens in hopes of buying a TV for half the cost.

But because there are crazy deals on Black Friday, the violent side of shoppers tends to make an appearance. There are always reports of people being trampled or pushed during the shopping frenzy.

One Cherry Hill, New Jersey resident did exactly the opposite of this on Black Friday.

Instead of fighting strangers to get the last Fingerling monkey (hot new toy of 2017) in Toys R Us, one man actually made the lives of many better with his generosity.

There was a buzz at the Cherry Hill Toys R Us after one Secret Santa paid off $10,000 worth of Christmas layaway orders.

Can you imagine being of the people who he paid for? I would cry if I found that out!

The man, only known as Charlie K., went into the store and paid off 62 layaway orders that totaled up to $10,780. That is one hefty check!

“Just, you know, trying to bring some happiness to people. That’s really it. Help bring back to the community that brought so much happiness to me and my family,” Charlie K. told NBC affiliate KCBD.

Of course, that isn’t all that Charlie did. Becuase he could not pay off all of the layaway orders, he also purchased $2,000 worth of toys to donate to Toys for Tots this Christmas.

Quite obviously, those impacted by his kind deed were beyond thankful and so excited by his thoughtfulness this Christmas season.

One grandma told the news that Charlie paid for seven different gifts in her order in the process of all of this. Her grandchildren will be so happy this Christmas!

“They come over and tell me that someone actually paid the layaway,” Jessica Key, one of the moms who Charlie bought for, told KCBD. “Definitely an early Christmas, and I’m so thankful and I want to say thank you to the gentleman who came in and donated.”

This is one of the greatest Secret Santa stories we’ve ever heard of!
