What would you do if your favorite musician offered to sing a song with you? This lucky street performer got a chance to find out.

Jason Deeh Pitre sings on the streets of Montréal. One day when he was performing, someone special was watching. Jason’s idol, Seal, approached him and asked if he was interested in performing a duet. One of Jason’s wildest dreams had come true!

Jason had admired Seal from the very beginning.

“The first tape I ever bought was Seal’s classic first album,” Jason revealed to Inside Edition. “He’s been a serious influence on my art.”

Jason originally suggested performing one of Seal’s songs, but the artist humbly declined. Instead, the two men sang a stunning version of “Stand By Me” by Ben E. King. The performance was fantastic. Seal began the song, and his voice filled the entire plaza with smooth notes. Then he stepped back and gave Jason the spotlight.

Jason amazed the audience with his incredible voice. The musician played his guitar throughout the song. The two harmonized together flawlessly. They sounded as if they had been practicing together for years. At the end of the song, Seal told Jason, “You really touched me. You have an amazing voice!” It was a moment Jason would never forget.

Not wanting to attract too much attention, Seal quickly left the courtyard after the performance was over. Neil St. Clair, and audience member to the spectacle, explained to Inside Edition that “Seal simply walked out past the crowd and down the street. No hanging around. It was a bit like a voice angel just disappearing into the Montréal twilight.”

You can watch Jason and Seal’s mesmerizing performance in the video below.

This isn’t the first time Seal has randomly teamed up with a street performer.

He’s done it a few times previously.

He’s also called a street musician on stage to perform with him at one of his concerts.
