1. When Blake greeted Reynolds on his first-ever Fatherโs Day celebration
Being a man takes a lot of courage, but becoming a father is a whole different story. This happened when the couple welcomed their firstborn, James Reynolds, on December 16, 2014. It was then Reynoldsโ first time celebrating Fatherโs Day, so Blake decided to write a heartfelt yet humorous message on her Instagram account.

She wrote, โSince the day our baby was born, Iโve felt so strongly in my heart that you were most likely the father.โ
The couple was known for their funny antics on and off the camera which makes them a lovely couple.
2. When Reynolds tried his hidden photoshopping skills
At the American Music Awards back in 2021, it can be recalled that ex-couple Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears paired up donning their top-to-bottom denim outfits. 14 years later, Reynolds re-uploaded the photo to his Twitter but replaced Britney and Justinโs faces with his and Blakeโs.

3. When Blakeโs wedding dress got burnt
Every wife-to-be knows how important a wedding dress is. Aside from cherry-picking a wedding gown of their choice, some brides are even having it customized. So, messing up the wedding dress is every brideโs nightmare and Blake sure knows how this feels.
During Florence Welchโs performance at their wedding reception, Blakeโs custom-made Marchesa gown accidentally got burnt shortly after sparklers were broken out. Although she was heartbroken at first, Reynolds was there to console her and made her look at things from a different perspective.
Reynolds told Blake that the burnt mark will forever hold Florence Welchโs performance on their wedding day. Soon after, Blake told Vogue that the burnt mark eventually became her favorite part of the dress.
4. When Blake talked about how Reynolds makes her laugh
You know when they say โa happy wife is a happy lifeโ, thatโs what Reynolds has been doing. Knowing his impeccable sense of humor, Reynolds sure knows a thing or two about making Blake laugh, even in the most inappropriate places that you could think of.

Laughter and genuine happiness have been the staples of Reynolds and Blakeโs life as a married couple. I mean, havenโt we seen them in their TV interviews when they poked fun at each other? A true definition of love is being able to make your partner genuinely happy.
5. When Reynolds (lovingly) vowed to use Blake as a human shield
He would do anything to protect Blake and no one could ever question that. However, when their first child was born, there came a sudden change in his principles about keeping their family safe, particularly their child.
In his appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman, Reynolds jokingly said, โI will use my wife as a human shield to protect that baby.โ

In the 2016 film โThe Shallowsโ, Blake played the role of a surfer who got trapped in the middle of the ocean where a humongous great white shark was lurking nearby.
According to Blake, her husband helped her gear up for the role by telling her to prepare for it as if it was an athletic event. Turned out, the advice worked because Blake was able to portray her character magnificently, and became one of her most memorable movies ever.
7. When Ryan shared their babyโs birth story
Itโs normal for a couple to be on the edge of their seat on the delivery date, but Reynolds is no ordinary husband. In his appearance in โLate Night with Seth Meyersโ, he said he played Marvin Gayeโs โLetโs Get It Onโ which Blake didnโt like so much.
โIt was like steak knives came out of her eyes,โ Reynolds said while describing how Blake looked at him after he played the song.
This couple is really something off the books when it comes to humor.

You might have seen the couple being interviewed either together or apart, and every time we see them they always look at each other as if thereโs nobody watching. The spark in their eyes whenever they meet almost looks like a scene from a romantic movie.
9. When Ryan got his star on the Walk of Fame
Not everyone is given the chance to have their own star on the Walk of Fame. In 2016, Reynolds earned his star and attended the ceremony with Blake and their two kids. During his speech, he had nothing but the sweetest message for his wife.

10. When a double date brought them together
Most people know that Reynolds and Blake first met while filming the movie โThe Green Lantern,โ as it turns out, the two became friends during the shoot. But what really became the start of their love story was when the two went out on a double date.

However, they were paired with somebody else then. But thatโs also the time when they realized thereโs something more between them than just being on-screen partners and off-screen friends.
