When a couple gets married, itโs one of the happiest and most important days of their lives. They get to start a new one together and to share their joy with all of their friends and family. A wedding is more than just a party, itโs a celebration of love, family, and happiness.
But getting married isnโt on everyoneโs to-do list. For some, itโs totally scary!
To be fair, itโs a huge commitment. You have to be sure that you really want to spend the rest of your life on this earth with that one person. Youโve got to be sure that you really love them, even at their very worst, when theyโre angry or irritable and when they make mistakes, big and small.
You have to know in your heart of hearts that youโll be there for them even when youโre mad at them for something petty like forgetting to do the dishes.

If a personโs not ready to get married at that moment in their life, or they donโt see themselves spending the rest of their lives with their current partner, attending another personโs wedding can become an awkward experience. Especially if both attendees in the couple arenโt on the same page.
It can be easy to treat a wedding like a big party, even if there is a little tension between you and your partner. With all the dancing, good music, lots of delicious food, and sometimes even an open bar โ thereโs no need to let a wedding put any awkwardness into a newer relationship. Itโs possible to celebrate a good friend or family memberโs joy without placing pressure on your own relationship.
That is, unless, that couple gets involved with one of the other wedding traditions: the bouquet toss.

As we all know, the bouquet toss supposedly determines who among the lady guests are going to get married next. Whoever catches the brideโs blind toss of her expensive flowers is destined to become a bride herself at some point in the near future.
When one bride at a lovely wedding in Northamptonshire, England, went to throw her bouquet, she had no idea what kind of commotion she was about to cause.
The bride Chelsea Best readies herself to give her bouquet a solid toss while a group of eager women jostles each other preparing to grab for the prize.

When a woman named Rachel Besley finds herself holding the flowers, her boyfriend is the one who had the biggest reaction.
Perhaps as a joke, maybe even with total sincerity, Rachelโs boyfriend Daniel Gilbert makes a mad dash into the horizon, far, far away from all of the nuptial madness.

Everyone had a good laugh at Danielโs mad dash. The most likely story is that heโs a big jokester and heโd been counting on Rachel catching the bouquet the whole time in the hopes heโd be able to perform for the entire crowd at the wedding.
Itโs moments like this that make you appreciate a good sense of humor. Iโll bet that if Rachel and Daniel are meant to be together in the end, Rachel found the sprint just as hilarious as the rest of the wedding party did. A shared sense of humor is not something that you can overlook when picking a life partner, thatโs for sure!
