Itโs always embarrassing when the kids show up the adults in terms of talent.
If anyone is a great example of this, itโs young dance stars Ruby and Jonas. When they appeared on Americaโs Got Talent back in 2013, the duo blew judges away with their amazing moves. It is one of the most impressive performances weโve ever seen and the video is something you just have to see for yourself.
At the time of their first audition, Ruby Castro was just 9-years-old and Jonas Terleckas was 10.
The pair met just one year before their appearance on the show, but in that time, they formed quite a bond. When you are spending so much time with each other practicing every day, it is pretty much inevitable. Their specialty is ballroom dancing.
โWe dance like from morning until night,โ Jonas said in the video introduction. โItโs good, but sheโs kind of bossy you know,โ he joked while pointing towards Ruby.
Ruby commented she feels kind of like his mom because she is always taking care of him.
โI fix his hair. When he doesnโt look good I fix it. Itโs almost like Iโm his mom, itโs kind of weird,โ Ruby said.
The two have great charisma and are quite fun to watch.
The song they chose to dance to on the show was โRunaway Babyโ by Bruno Mars.
As soon as the performance begins you can immediately tell it is going to be great. Another young dancer dances across the stage and present Ruby with a bouquet of flowers and she hilariously tosses it up in the air.
Two more dancers come on and try and win her heart as well, but what she really wants is a man who can dance.
Suddenly Jonas shows up and the real show gets going.
They certainly know how to dress the part too.

What follows next are a series of crazy spinning and perfectly choreographed dance moves that would give even the most seasoned dancers a run for their money.
Their facial expressions throughout the dance are pretty epic as well.
Three other young men assist in the performance, but they are mainly there for dramatic effect. The stars of the show are, of course, Ruby and Jonas.
Itโs hard to believe how good they already are at such a young age.
At the time of the video, they had both only been dancing for five years. In the world of dance, that is practically nothing. For many, dancing is an art form that takes a lifetime to master. If one thing is for sure though, itโs that they definitely have a long and promising dance career ahead of them.
Although, it hasnโt always been easy for the duo.
At one of their initial performances in Vegas, they actually took a spill in the middle of the stage. However, they didnโt let that stop them from putting on a great show. They immediately jumped up and got right back into it. Itโs something that happens to all dancers at some point or another and is nothing to be ashamed of.
While Ruby and Jonas were ultimately eliminated from the series in the quarterfinals, we are sure this isnโt the last we will be seeing of them.
Their career is just beginning, and we can almost guarantee that theyโll be winning plenty of other competitions in the future.
