Fashion trends are forever changing whether it’s the clothing we wear, or how we style our hair and makeup. Many of us plucked our eyebrows super thin in the 90s.
So many women are now having to find a little extra help when it comes to having full brows, which are currently in style.
But Kristen Hampton, a reporter for WBTV Good News in Charlotte, North Carolina, has come up with a way for those thin browed girls to plump them up.
Hampton decided to test out the “As Seen on TV” product called “3 Second Brow” to see if she could plump up her thin brows.
“So I think when people think about trendsetters, I’m probably the first that comes to mind because if there’s a trend, I’m gonna set it. But apparently, I’ve been a little behind the times with my eyebrows apparently wooly eyebrows are the deal now and mine are kind of thin,” Hampton said on camera.
“I tried to grow mine out and they just ended up having sprouts all over so that looked weird so I went to the store today to purchase the 3 Second Brow eyebrow stamp.”
So Hampton went to the store and bought a kit for $15 and decided to perform a demonstration of it on Facebook Live.
That video ended up getting viewed more than 6.6 million views.
“I saw the ad on Facebook and just knew that it would be a fun Facebook Live video,” Hampton said. “But I have to be honest. I had no idea how well it would do. People kept logging on and reacting, so I just kept going. I thought it was going to be just another silly video that I did.”
She starts the video by pulling out each of the two eyebrow stamps, one which has an arch and another that doesn’t.
She then dips the stamp into the brown powder that supposed to resemble the color of eyebrow hair.
Then she takes a breath and stamps one of her eyebrows with the stamp. And boy, do they look full. Yeah… a little too full. She was a little surprised at how full her eyebrow was.
And then she went ahead and stamped her other eyebrow. And you could just imagine how that looked. She pretty much looked crazy.
Then she added another “As Seen On TV” look by putting in a pair of Perfect Smile Veneers.
“If you’ve got a messed up grill, and you want a perfect smile, you just slap these bad boys on,” she says before flashing her plastic smile. “I hope that at some point in your life that you feel confident enough to achieve this level of sexy.”
Now she just looked crazy times 10!
Hamilton was overwhelmed by the response she received from the video.
“I spent yesterday in such a tickle, reading all the comments,” she said. “I acted like a clown for 30 minutes and people were writing me to say they were having a bad day until they watched my video. You can’t beat that feeling.”
