The coronavirus has forced many of us to have to work from home.
And it’s a lot different from the regular workday that we knew.
People are forgoing their suit pants for yoga pants and suit shirts for sweatshirts.
Sometimes you have to jump on a conference call.
Lots of companies are opting to use video chat instead of your standard call.
But not all their employees are aware of exactly how that looks.
People are settling into their quarantine work-from-home lifestyle quite comfortably.
Maybe a little too comfortably.
We’ve all seen that viral video where the woman forgets that the conference call she is on is using video and takes her computer into the bathroom with her while she pees.

While Good Morning America reporter Will Reeve didn’t take his pants off on video, we still got a real good laugh out of his pantless broadcast.
Reeve, who is the son of late actor Christopher Reeve, was business up top and I haven’t worn real clothes since this quarantine started on the bottom during a live segment shot from his own home.
Reeve was doing a segment on drones that will be used to deliver prescriptions to elderly residents.

While he remembered the details of his story, he didn’t remember to wear pants.
Reeve was in a nice blue shirt and a grey sports jacket but was wearing only shorts on the bottom.
He had no idea that his bare legs were visible on camera. I think Scary Mommy‘s Tweet captures the moment best…

At the beginning of the broadcast, Reeve’s legs were covered up with some graphics about the story on the bottom of the screen reading: “Pharmacies Of The Future. Using Drones To Deliver Prescriptions To Patients.”
But those graphics disappeared when the camera came back on Reeve after a two-person shot of the show’s hosts.

That’s when you can totally tell that Reeve wasn’t wearing any pants.
Reeve discussed “the final leg of the prescriptions’ journeys” not knowing that his leg was visible, which was pretty hilarious.
“What is an innovative, high-tech way to get people their medicine quickly while promoting social distancing? Drones!” he confidently says not realizing what the camera can see.
By the look on her face, it seemed that host Amy Robach noticed Reeve wasn’t wearing pants by the end of the segment.

People on the internet noticed almost immediately and the posts came flooding in about the GMA newscaster who wasn’t wearing pants.
“Is it too much to expect reporters to wear pants?” asked one Twitter user.
“Hey put on pants my guy,” said another.
Some even thanked Reeve.
“You made all of us, sitting around in underwear for the last two months, feel normal again. Thank you for that and for having an awesome sense of humor.
Reeve later said that he was wearing workout clothing and wasn’t in his underwear.
“When WFH goes wrong (or, your self-framed live shot goes too wide). Hope everyone got a much-needed laugh,” he Tweeted.

“Trying to be efficient I got ready for a post-GMA workout a little too soon this morning. The camera angle, along with friend, family, and several hundred strangers on social media made me rethink my morning routine. Any sartorial tips from these people who are wearing a belt, trousers and shoes during their work video calls at home are most welcome. Now, back to work. Wearing pants.”
Despite his pantless faux pas, Reeve learned something he could share with his viewers.
He gave them some tips on work-from-home etiquette and how to avoid video chat pitfalls. But etiquette be damned, keep those pitfalls coming. They’re keeping us laughing and helping to remind us all that we’re human.
