Ever been in a situation where you’re damned if you do and damned if ya don’t. Your answer to the question before you will be wrong no matter how you answer it. That’s the situation that caused Steve Harvey and millions of YouTubers to crack up over this hilarious “Family Feud” moment.
The question asked of two contestants on the popular game show “Family Feud” has to do with how you would describe your wife in bed. And none of the answers will make any woman happy. Any answer would be so bad that these two contestants refuse to answer.
“Family Feud” is a staple of American television since its premiere in 1976. The show pits two families against each other to try and figure out the most popular answers to survey questions, in the hopes of winning cash and prizes. In 2013, TV Guide ranked “Family Feud” third in its list of the 60 greatest game shows of all time.
The true genius behind the game is the kind of survey questions that are asked before the cameras even roll. The great questions can baffle and stump the contestants or have them thinking in a completely different direction causing some of the most hilarious answers.
In this clip from the show, the two gentlemen step up to the podium, and host Steve Harvey reads off the survey question. Usually, the faster you can answer the quicker your family can win the cash, but this question leaves the two contestants with zipped lips.
The question that Harvey reads is this …
“We asked 100 married men: Which of the seven dwarfs describes your wife in bed.”
These two guys do not quickly slap the buzzer to answer. They each look at each other and shake their heads. Any answer will put them in the dog house.
The seven dwarfs are definitely not the likely description of your wife’s sexual prowess. And these two men understand that completely.
The marine finally comes up with an answer he thinks might not upset his wife. He lays down an alibi for his answer by saying, “This is just to get up on the board.”
Then he picks Bashful. Hoping that this is the answer with the least sting. Bashful comes in as the number three most popular answer.
Let’s go through some of the answers that these two guys could have possibly answer.
How about Grumpy?
This might be the worst answer of the bunch depending on how your wife’s day has gone so far. Maybe there’s a better answer or most likely a worst.
One of the most beloved Dwarfs is the lovable, Dopey. He’s the only dwarf without a beard and the only one who doesn’t speak, he’s mute.
And this might be the description of your wife that will surely lead to divorce. Let’s leave that one right there before we all get into trouble.
Sleepy? Nope. Sneezy? Oh-no! What’s left? Since the marine said Bashful, we have only a couple of dwarfs left.
Doc? Hmm, not sure what to do with that description? Which leaves us with only one Dwarf. And this one might just work.
Happy! Oh, why didn’t these two guys think of that dwarf. It’s the perfect answer. Any husband who is asked would want their wife to be happy in bed. And any wife would also want to be happy in bed.
It’s a win-win answer.
