After you read this message, you’ll agree that any student would be lucky to have this professor!
College is stressful enough for the average student. For single moms, the pressure can be much worse. On top of study, exams, and deadlines, you’ve got the full-time responsibility of child raising!
Morgan King was one such student.
She was coping with the pressure of putting herself through college while taking care of a baby daughter, Korbyn, on her own.
She tried her best to keep up with class and ensure that her child had everything she needed.
Sometimes, however, her plans fell through. This happened one time, and Morgan had to miss her class.
She sent her professor an apology for her absence, and the response must be seen to be believed.
Told my professor I missed class yesterday bc I couldn’t find childcare & this was her response. I’m literally crying. So blessed/thankful pic.twitter.com/3QaThJRXdo

For anyone who doesn’t have the time to read the entire letter, here’s the gist of it: Professor Sally B. Hunter gives Morgan the opportunity to submit her work online. Then she states that not only can Morgan bring her child into class, but that she’d be happy to look after the child so Morgan can focus on work! The professor also says she’d be happy to hear of any other ways that she can help Morgan.
Greatest. Professor. Ever!
Shortly after receiving this touching email, Morgan tweeted it so others could enjoy. Then the internet exploded with adoration. For instance, the tweet alone received almost 26,000 likes and 5,000 retweets.
But, amazingly, it gets even more heartwarming!
Update: I just went to email my professor to let her know I posted her email and it went viral but she beat me to it! Hahaha #twitterfamous pic.twitter.com/4n8EEc0zux

After seeing how much everyone on Twitter loved the message, Professor Hunter emailed Morgan again. This time, she said that she couldn’t believe that her initial message had become so beloved. She appeared to suggest she had thought anyone would do the same thing.
Clearly, Professor Hunter has a big heart and doesn’t realize just how kind she is.
Or rather, that should be didn’t realize just how kind she is. Twitter users saw to it that Professor Hunter’s kindness was very much appreciated:
Very cool! She even knows the child’s name!

Morgan King, the student, has since graduated from the University of Tennessee and is loving being the mommy of Korbyn. She recently tweeted about how someone else performed an incredible act of kindness for her.
She woke up one morning to find her neighbor mowing her yard. She asked the neighbor what was happening.
Y’all.. my neighbor is outside mowing my huge yard right now and I walked out there to see what was going on and he said “your boyfriend is in the military and gone serving his duty right now isn’t he?” And I said “yes sir” and he said “I’ll be mowing your lawn from now on.”
