Cleveland, Tennesseโs Police Department decided to participate in the viral lip sync challenge. These six police officers put on a show that will leave any lady speechless. They put on a lip-sync music video that is so high quality that it could even be mistaken for a professional music video.
Better yet, these officers donโt take themselves seriously, they curated a playful music video to bring a smile to everyoneโs face. The best part is you can see the genuine fun they are having while filming it, making it even more enjoyable to watch.
Youโd probably never guess what song the officers chose and it was Camilla Cabelloโs hit โHavana.โ
Youโll see that the officers didnโt just focus on the song primarily, but they created a vibe that would go perfectly with the song as well to create a top-quality music video. You will see that even though these officers are completely suited up in their full police uniform, they canโt stop thinking about Havana. They chose to stage the background as a breathtaking property with a gorgeous pool.
The first part of the music video takes place in front of their police vehicles. They make sure to proudly show off their cityโs name so everyone will never forget about Cleveland, Tennessee. These officers must have practiced this beforehand or just really love the song because they knew every single word. Maybe they are just really good lip-syncing, youโll have to see for youself.
The fun really begins when they move the shots from the police cars to the pool
The officers relax on the lounge chairs by the pool, while the officers start to share their screen time and start doing solos of the song. During these two solos it is quite clear that these officers not only have lip-syncing talent, but they are great dancers as well.
These officers have the moves to go with the challenge.
One officer made sure during his solo that he would have a hype man right behind him. Every great artist needs at least one hype man after all. His hype man even throws money on him at the end of his solo.
The five officers all reunite again but this time they are singing in the pool. One officer is on a pool float in the very beginning, but he is not the only one to go into the pool. The other four officers get right into the pool besides the float. If you thought they would get in swimwear for this part, they do not!
These officers get into the pool fully clothed in their uniforms still.
Once the officers are in the pool, all bets are off!
The officers start having even more fun and throw their fellow officer off the float and into the pool. Then everyone starts to jump, flip, or get tossed into the pool. Then with one final jump into the pool by the officers their video ends.
Hundreds of police departments contributed to the lip sync challenge. So, CBS decided to create a โLip Sync to the Rescueโ battle. They picked 30 of the best lip sync videos for people to watch and vote for their favorite.
Out of all the police departments, Cleveland, Tennesseeโs video was chosen to be in the top 30.
Although being a police officer tends to be a very serious profession, they show that itโs okay to let loose every once in a while and have some fun. Sometimes you can get lost in the business of life, but never forget to take a second to have some fun.
