1. Winding Tracks
These train tracks in New Zealand weren’t always so crooked. The random twists and turns are a result of a massive earthquake that hit the region. Surprisingly, none of the rails snapped, however, they did get bent into some really awkward positions.

Unsurprisingly, most brown bears and grizzlies are brown… at least typically. This one’s fur is a ghostly white color. If it wasn’t for the warm forest scenery, we might suspect that it’s a polar bear.

49. Fairy Circles
This barren African landscape is covered in hundreds of strange circles called fairy circles. They are believed to be the result of termites living underneath the soil and eating through the vegetation. This causes those sections of the soil to remain extra-moist during periods of rain.

50. Crab Migration
There are over 120 million crabs that live on Christmas Island, an Australian territory in the Indian Ocean. Every year, the crabs migrate across the island to the ocean to begin mating. They have to put up barriers along the roads to prevent traffic jams.
