Have you ever seen a photo that immediately takes your breath away because it’s so beautiful that it seems unreal or perhaps you’ve seen one that has unique elements that make it captivating? Fortunately, both professional and novice photographers have shared a lot of unbelievable images for the world to enjoy.
These are so remarkable that you’ll have a hard time taking your eyes off them. We love them and we’re sure you will too. Who knows, some of these may inspire you to start snapping more photos.

No…this is the real deal. When you first glance at this photo, it appears as though someone superimposed an image of the moon over another one of a bridge. But if you look closer, you’ll see it’s light filtering through the opening beneath the bridge that creates the shape of the moon.
Here’s another mesmerizing image. What looks like concrete blocks are giant rectangles created by tides and winds out of the west. The individual who took this was flying 7,500 feet above the Confederation Bridge.
You know, in Scotland, plaid is quite popular. So, it’s ironic that this photo was taken in, well, Scotland. It seems that kilts aren’t the only things covered in a tiny checkered pattern.
That’s what this photo looks like but in reality, these are chairs. Something about the way they were stacked makes them appear more like an optical illusion. Who knew an everyday object could be so photogenic.
We have no idea who came up with this idea but it’s brilliant. Simply removing portions of the wrappers on some of the crayons and then lining them up just right resulted in a magnificent photo.
This photographer spotted something incredible and took advantage of the opportunity to capture it. This isn’t two photos placed side-by-side…just one. The image on the left is a Ficus plant sitting on a balcony ledge that just so happens to line up perfectly with the ocean view.
From looking at this photo, we get the impression that the Chief of Police is particular about how their officers do things. That includes parking their cars.
8. Presentation is everything
Similar to how a chef presents food on a plate, the way stores display their merchandise will either hurt or help sales. In this case, someone takes a lot of pride in their work. We’re sure their boss appreciates it.
When serving this “cake,” the guests might’ve been somewhat skeptical. But after cutting it, they realized it was fantastic. Just so you know, that’s 21 layers of Jell-O. We can only imagine the amount of time invested in making it.
Here’s another example of someone who takes a lot of pride in their work. Using a utility knife, this man cut pieces of tape to separate sections to benefit the other employees. But he ended up with something that looks more like artwork.
In elementary school, art teachers often have students create flowers out of tissue paper. But that’s not what this is. Rather, it’s a Mum from a woman’s garden. This is what you call nature at its finest.
Initially, that’s what this photo looks like it’s depicting. Actually, it’s an image of the same field that’s separated by a fence. This is truly incredible.
Some people might not think a photo consisting of brownies is all that impressive. But not only did this person make a delicious treat but also cut all the pieces evenly. And if you’ve ever tried it, it’s not that easy.
The individual who created these Jell-O Rubik’s cubes is a master at food art. These look so good you’d hate to eat them. Just one question…how on earth did they do this?
15. Tubing down the river
There’s nothing more fun than going on a tubing trip down a river. But in this case, this “innertube” won’t work. The reason…it’s foam that collected on the water’s surface.
We love it when people see things that most of us miss. In this case, they lined their camera up with cars at a dealership. With all the windows down, it looks like a portal to another dimension.
Is it a golf ball or perhaps hail? No, this is a perfectly round egg. We all know that eggs are oblong so something like this is super special.
When looking at plants, you typically see leaves of different sizes, shapes, and even colors. But this lucky individual found a bunch of symmetric leaves. That’s a one-in-a-million find.
While the majority of photos on this list are natural, this just goes to show that you can capture a great image from something man-made. At the library, the kids will be thrilled to discover this.
In this photo, you can see the woman was able to open a container of yogurt without getting any on the inside of the lid. Considering this is almost impossible to do, it’s photo-worthy. So, how long did that take and what’s her secret?
What do you do when you buy a house with bathroom tile that you’re not very fond of? Rather than spend a lot of money on renovations, do what this lady did. Find matching towels. Her kids thought this made a great photo.
Instead of posting just another cat photo, this individual wanted to do something unique. With various colored crystals, this was the outcome. Just look at how they make the kitty’s eyes stand out.
23. Attack of the green robot
For a minute, it’s hard to tell what this is. But come to find out, it’s not a robot at all. But rather, this is the work of the cable guy who happens to be a perfectionist. That’s pretty amazing.
If you currently own or have ever had a cat, you know they love to curl into tight balls when napping. This precious girl figured out how to it correctly. Now, this is a photo of a kitty that deserves to be shared.
This person’s goal was to capture the beautiful scenery. But at just the right moment, a red train came into frame. Instead of ruining the photo…it enhanced it.
If you first thought this was some kind of exotic plant, you’re not alone. But look closer and you’ll see it’s the antlers of nine Markhors drinking from the same water source.
…of bubbles. That’s right. After someone used the soap dispenser to wash their hands, tiny bubbles began forming beneath it. It’s like they have a mind of their own and we love it.
We’ve all seen photos like this that are unfortunately, manipulated. But not this one. What happened was as the river flowed past a rock, it created a section of water behind it that was perfectly calm. The calm water then turned into a frozen circle.
29. Unbelievable markings
Nature is full of surprises like this Diamondback Terrapin. The combination of the symmetric design on the turtle’s back and the black dots on its head and feet gave this person something spectacular to photograph.
Although you might think it looks odd to use tile and wood on the same floor, it’s actually quite brilliant. Look closely and you can see how the installer was able to get the lines in perfect order. That takes talent.
Using ordinary stones found along the beach, this individual was able to create what appears to be a three-dimensional rock hand. The way the light reflects off of them gives this photo a unique dynamic.
Once in a while, people come across something that’s difficult to explain. While the photo itself isn’t all that great, the rock is. As you can see, it has a strip of quartz that runs all the way around it.
This photo looks as though it could be used in the opening of a horror or sci-fi movie. But it’s simply the shape made from four lights coming from the bathroom, which has its door slightly ajar.
Without any explanation, can you tell what this photo is? Don’t feel bad, most people can’t. This is what a metal walkway looks like after it gets covered with frost. The detailing is what makes this so extraordinary.
Although this was completely unintentional, it turned into an image you could almost frame as art. So, what is it? This is wax that splattered on the bottom of a candleholder.
Can you even fathom the amount of time and patience it would take to put a gradient puzzle like this together? The aftermath is beyond impressive.
37. A window to the world
This photo of a window that overlooks a grassy range is so magnificent that it could be mistaken for an expensive painting. We don’t know where this is located but whoever lives there is one lucky individual.
Moths have the uncanny ability to blend in. This one did just that. Not only is the moth’s black and white pattern incredible but also the fact that it chose black and white as its background.
No…this isn’t a manipulated photo but a reflection that appears inside a cup of coffee. The next time you visit a coffee shop, see if you can accomplish something like this. Even if it’s not perfect, you might be surprised at the photo you capture.
A lot of people would do just about anything for the opportunity to live here. The trees are so green and aligned so beautifully, it’s surreal. What a gorgeous setting.
Unlike the last photo, this one was manipulated but in the proper way. This individual used long exposure of a vinyl record to show what it looks like. We bet most people had no idea.
While a lot of employees do the minimum to earn a paycheck, this person takes a different approach. They took the time to create a perfect display of the store’s merchandise. Whoever this is deserves a raise.
…only that’s not paint. Usually when snow falls on vehicles, it leaves behind pits and waves. But in this instance, it blanketed this person’s car so smoothly that it almost appears to have a new paint job.
44. Loch Ness Monster times six
That might be what this photo looks like but that’s even close. Instead, it’s an extremely rare cloud formation that appeared over Reykjavik, Iceland. This photo is so intriguing.
45. The never-ending tunnel
Here’s another example of what happens when peering into opened windows of a long row of perfectly aligned vans. The view seems to go on forever. It’s like looking down an endless pit or tunnel.
Without being told, most people would probably have a hard time figuring this photo out. These ripples formed on the surface of the water as a ship passed by. It’s amazing how they’re so in-sync.
After stumbling on this leaf, the individual did the right thing by snapping a photo of it. We’re not sure what kind of plant it is or how this happens, but it’s certainly remarkable to see.
It’s amazing what someone can do using only two ordinary objects…plastic forks and colored toothpicks. This is so pretty that they could easily put it in a frame and hang it in their home or office as contemporary art.
At first glance, you might think of something really gross. But this isn’t anything to worry about. It’s simply a photo of a smoothie taken from above. Strange yet very cool.
The person who made this pie put in a lot of time and effort. And they’re eager for others to enjoy. But if someone brought a dessert to your house that looked like this, you’d probably have a hard time cutting it, let alone eating it.
It’s always interesting to look at the ground from inside of an airplane. Usually, you see neighborhoods laid out in grids or squares. Not this one. It has an unusual design that’s quite interesting.
Without doubt, this is awesome. But is this employee required to this or do they have too much time on their hands? How long did this take? And more importantly, how long did the merchandise stay this way?
We’re not sure if this was just happenstance or part of the faucet’s design but it’s remarkable either way. While there probably isn’t any really value, it still makes for a great photo.
This is one of those photos that’s only captured once in a lifetime. Fortunately, this cat’s owner was able to snap the image and then share it with the world. We all thank you.
After putting their beverage in the freezer to make it colder, this is what happened. We have no idea if there’s a hidden pattern on the inside of the glass of if the ice crystals did this on their own. Regardless, it’s spectacular.
After buying the lighter green paint, this person wanted to slightly darken it. So, they added a single drop of paint and this was the result…a perfect teardrop.
Whether someone’s a professional or amateur photographer, capturing a great photo is all about seizing an opportunity at just the right time. That’s what this individual did.
They say a picture is worth 1,000 words but we think this one deserves more like a million. How nature created such a perfect flower, we’ll never know.
This is what the end of the day should look like. Here’s a stunning sunset flowing over and in between these two trailers. It’s simply magical. And the vivid colors are beyond magnificent.
Although we don’t know how this was done, we do know the woman in this photo is famous for her mirrored images. Regardless of the trick, it’s something that’s hard not to look at.
