When most instances in which you observe things is through images, it can be hard to tell the true scale of them. In other, simpler words- do you know how big something is if you’ve never seen it in real life?
Sometimes we can have a very skewed idea of the true size of things, but thanks to the wide web and some scale-providing images shared on it, we can now see many things for the size they really are.
