These pictures look insane, but it’s just the angle!
1) Hanging by a thread. Or should we say laying?
In this picture, the biker appears to be hanging by his fingertips ready to fall down an abyss. Luckily, he’s not in any real danger, by laying down and flipping the angle of the camera they were able to create the illusion of him barely hanging on.
2) That doesn’t look good
This one looks insane! At first glance, it looks like he let go of his friend who’s falling to sure death. The truth is, they flipped the camera angle and had one of them jump through the air with his hand out while the other lays down with his feet against a ledge and his hand out.
This one is genius, it really looks like he’s about to fall off of the side of a building while the person on the bike rides on a ledge barely big enough to fit her tires to attempt to save him. It’s just another clever camera angle and some strategic posing.
These two guys look like they’re floating when really they’re just laying on their backs. The trick here is using the reflection from the water to make it look like the city is if flipped the opposite way, which creates the illusion of them floating.
This man looks like he’s sitting on the edge of a crazy ledge enjoying the view when really the camera is just flipped and he’s actually hanging by his legs. That’s one awesome
6) Love makes you weightless
This picture appears to be a man holding his wife in the air with just one arm. At first glance, it looks legit and makes you wonder how he’s so strong. But when you really look closely, you realize it’s just two people laying down in the right formation and a really cool camera angle.
I’m sure there’s someone out there who could actually pull off some insane handstand walking like this, but this woman isn’t that person. They just flipped the camera upside down while she stands on one foot and puts her hands on the slanted wall.
It appears to be a group of people just leaning up against a wall, while the crazy dog runs sideways on the same wall. They’re actually laying on the ground with their feet against the brick wall, while the camera angle is flipped to make them look upright.
This one actually looks like he’s on another planet, being sucks back down to earth by gravity. Don’t worry, he’s not really about to fall, it’s just another person laying down with some clever camera angles.
It looks like theirs a bench on some kind of crazy vertical grass wall, but that’s just an illusion. By laying with his back on the bench seat and leaving his feet hanging over, they just had to turn the camera sideways to create this illusion.
11) Just standing here minding my own business
By flipping the camera sideways, this picture makes it look like the Great Wall of China has a part that’s twisted onto its side. Now that’s really cool, how he’s able to do this pose so perfectly is beyond me.
12) Peaking through the vortex
By laying in the pool with their feet up on the side, it looks like these two have just broken through into another dimension. Well played, but we know it’s just some more tricky camera angles.
13) You better not let go
He really sold this one with the look on his face, for a second I thought he was actually about to fall. He’s just laying flat and gripping the ground, but they did a great job of capturing the perfect angle.
This one makes this kid look like a character right out of a superhero movie, too bad it’s no real. By getting just the right angle on the curved wall, they make it look like the sound is visible as he screams bloody murder.
How are all these people walking sideways on that huge wall? The perfect camera angle, that’s how. The was they did this one makes their shadows look really creepy
He looks like a prince charming who’s swinging from the ceiling to save his princess, but things aren’t always what they seem. He’s actually laying at the bottom of a spiral staircase, while she sits on the stairs. By taking the photo from up above and doing the right poses, it looks like an awesome action scene out of a Hollywood movie.
This one’s a little bit tricky to figure out. It looks like they’re just sitting on top of the water, but really they’re upside down hanging on to the edge of the pool while someone snaps a photo. How they got this one so perfectly has me baffled.
18) Now that’s dedication
This one is brilliant, all of them has to do just the right pose to pull this off. It really looks like they’re all just minding their own business while one guy is completely upside down, but they’re all actually laying on the ground with the camera flipped sideways. They really went above and beyond with the juice box and water bottle!
At first glance, you think Superman is real and he’s going to save the day. After a closer look, you realize it’s just a normal guy in a Superman costume, laying on an escalator and getting an awesome camera angle.
20) How’d he get up there?
If this was actually what it looked like, you’d be racking your brain trying to figure out how he got up there. He’s really just laying down beside a box with his legs resting on it. the camera angle makes it look like one wrong move, and he’s done for.
I knew some dancers seemed weightless, but light enough to dance on water? I think not. By flipping the camera upside down and taking just the right photo, it looks like these dancers are doing the impossible.
This one has me a little baffled. Is he actually running up the wall? If he is, it’s incredible. Either way, the camera angle makes all the difference in this super cool photo.
How awesome is this? It looks like they’re walking in line, while the people in the back round are actually sideways. Really, the four people are laying down which makes the other people look like they’re walking on the wall.
He literally had to get the perfect pose to make this one work, and he did a great job. I’m still not sure how he got the back to look like it’s hanging, or how he was able to balance like that. Either way, by flipping the camera and posing perfectly they made a brilliant picture.
What a trippy picture, it looks like he’s hanging by onto the grass before falling into an ocean. All they had to do is flip the camera upside down while he did a one-handed handstand. I wonder how many tries it took to get this shot.
This one just blew my mind. The timing he had to have to get this just right is remarkable, it really looks like he’s letting a flock of birds out of a mason jar. Not to mention, you don’t really get more than one take to capture this image.
It looks like you can see right through this girl, it’s actually quite creepy. She literally had to point the mirror at the exact right angle to get the edge of the grass to line up, and she did it perfectly. The person behind the camera also had to get the perfect angle for this one to work.
It looks like these kids are stepping through a portal right into the future, the trumpet is also an awesome added effect. All they had to do is lay on their backs’ in a swimming pool, which can actually be hard for some people. Another outstanding twist of the camera angle and you’ve got kids walking into another dimension.
29) You’ve got some grass in your hair
Talk about green hair. I’m still trying to figure out how she got this photo without getting any of her real hair in it, it’s amazing though. It kind of reminds me of some kind of grass fairy.
I’m not sure what that is they’re building on that lake, but he sure made it worth it. The way he’s laying looks really tough, way to hold the pose! Another case of the perfect camera angle.
If you thought giants were fake, this one may make you think twice. What a stellar idea, he’s a genius for this one. Next time I see a hot air balloon, I’m definitely trying this.
32) Crawling through the cracks
Just looking at this one makes me claustrophobic, but this guy nails it. They just had to flip the camera sideways, and it looks like he’s crawling his way through a tiny crack when he’s just standing upright. He really thought outside the box on this one.
This is like something out of the movie Honey I Shrunk The Kids. All they had to do was get far enough away from the water bottle and stand at the right angles, but it’s still hard to believe this isn’t photoshopped. What a great idea!
Half the battle for getting an awesome picture like this, is just thinking outside of the box and being clever enough to come up with a unique idea. That’s exactly what these guys did, and it looks phenomenal. The camera tripod on its side makes all the difference in this one.
35) Reaching into another demension
That’s one way to deliver flowers, at least he didn’t get them wet. They made it look like somebody from another world is reaching through a portal to hand someone the flowers, but it’s all some brilliant thinking and an awesome angle.
At first glance, it looks like this girl is having an exorcist style throwup session but that’s not the case. She just had to tilt her head back at the perfect angle to create this outstanding picture. Who knows how she came up with this idea, but it’s super clever.
This guy found the perfect angle to make it look like he’s playing hacky sack with the sun. Even without the optical illusion, that sunset is worth the picture. Another insanely brilliant idea!
This lady decided she wanted to kiss one of the ancient statues of a Pharoh, so she found the perfect spot to make it happen. I hope you brought chapstick, that’s going to be one dry kiss. Just another perfect angle in the world of optical illusions.
This one makes it look like another giant is amongst us, holding the tiny humans and blowing them over with one breath. The fact is, it’s just another example of a sweet camera angle. They really went all out to look like they’re blowing in the wind.
