Are you tired of photos that people think look real but are actually fake? Photoshop is neat but there are times you just want something genuine. These photos may look fake but they are as real as can be. You won’t believe what our minds can do.
1) If Trees Feel Pain
This tree grew around this railing and it feels strange. The holes look unreal and it makes you wonder what would happen if the railing were sawed in half and taken away. Would the tree be as sturdy?
2) Italian Police Are The Best
Italian police are known for being movie star good-looking and driving Lambos to work. Now we see them here in Venice riding around on jet skis just having a good time. I want to be an Italian cop.
3) Maple Crystals
When you leave food in your fridge for four years, things are bound to go sour. Or in this case, crystalize. This lady left syrup in her fridge for four years and found beaitufl crystals in the bottom.
4) Don’t Let It Sting You
This jellyfish is real. It may look like some blob of ocean rubbish but it’s actually a giant jellyfish. It’s called a Lion’s Mane jellyfish and its tentacles can grow up to thirty yards long. Imagine meeting one of these underwater.
5) Imagine Five Seconds Later
This is what a geyser looks like right before it erupts. The colors and shape here are gorgeous but I wouldn’t stand as close as those people are standing no matter how safe they told me it was.
6) Stairway To Heaven
This stairway points at the top, almost as if it leads directly into the heavens. It can be found at Bondi Beach in Australia and is a popular site for tourists. The man who created this loves to dream big.
7) Nine Years And Counting
I hope this man never cuts his hair because it looks as soft as it can be. He has let it grow out for years and look at the progress he has made. For some reason, this doesn’t look real but I can still feel it.
8) Catch One, Get One Free
This must be a two for one deal because they caught this tiny shark and it had a larger shark attached. That would freak me out if I were a fisherman. Please throw it back right away and get out of there.
9) This Serves A Purpose
If Bear Grylls saw this, he’d probably be able to make something really useful out of it. But it was just your average couple that happened upon it so all we get is to marvel at its beauty. It’s not often you see a transparent leaf of that size.
10) That’s A Big Blueberry
This blueberry could make an entire blueberry pie. Okay, so that’s an exaggeration, but it is a big blueberry. Remember the joy you had as a kid when you found a fruit that was extra large? If only we could have that back.
11) Pick A Half
You’ve seen half-white and half-black cats, but have you seen one with coloring this intricate. This one is half-ginger and half-grey in a tabby pattern. Even her pawas are half and half which is so adorable.
12) Such A Sharp Line
This road has a concrete wall on one side with trees planted on top. Thet rees are in a perfect line and the wall looks rigged in a way that make everything look out of place. The trees merge together in a beautiful way though.
13) I Won’t Stay Down
This plant’s leaf broke in half and started growing another plant. Or I guess, it’s the same plant with a new sprout. Maybe it gave birth? The phenomenon is so strange that I don’t know what to call it!
14) The Milky Volcano
You can see the Milky Way coming out of this volcano. Or at least that’s what it looks like. In reality, the eruption makes it look like the Milky Way is its own smoke signal, signaling the entire galaxy.
15) It Might Eat You
This little plant looks like a monster out of a video game. A small one that has a giant mother plant that grows up from the ground to terrorize you if you try to touch its baby. That’s not a bad storyline.
16) Ready To Ink
This macro is so fascinating! It’s the end of an unused ballpoint pen. You would think that the scratches on the side would inhibit the pen in some way, but it doesn’t. The metal is strong and the ink is nearly glowing.
17) I Want To Live Here
If this wasn’t in the desert, I’d want to move here in an instant. The mirrors are probably one way and are windows on the inside, which makes it very interesting if you have visitors peeking at themselves before going inside.
18) Just Half An Ounce
This giant crater was created by a piece of space debris that was just a half an ounce. The reason it made such a big impact is that it was going fifteen thousand miles an hour. It’s hard to even imagine that speed.
19) It’s As Big As Her Fist
Finding odd-sized fruits and veggies is fun, but have you ever found a blackberry that was as big as your fist? Well, the time for that is probably over if you’re an adult. Leave that for the kids.
20) The Dog That Mustache Questions
This dog probably got adopted faster than any other dog in the litter. He actually has a mustache and things like that don’t disappear when the dog grows up. It makes me want a mustached dog!
21) We Are Definitely In Kansas
Now you know what Dorothy feels like. This is a tornado and rainbow in the same picture. It’s as if the rainbow is sitting there as a lie while the tornado looms over it. You’ll never see this happen again!
22) This Side Up
The shadow of these two mailboxes make a perfect arrow! It wasn’t done on purpose but it should have been. Now we know which side of the mailboxes are up, something that we all struggle with, am I right?
23) Meet 81 Megapixels
In case you’re wondering, your phone probably shoots at 12-megapixels. This photo was taken at 81-megapixels. That’s pretty insane. This may look like the moon but it is actually the sun.
24) Time To Change The Contacts
This wife’s contacts fog up like a mirror. That’s probably not good as it usually indicates dirt or debris on the contacts. But that point aside, it looks awesome. Like her eyes have a windshield.
25) Would Anyone Else Freak Out?
If I saw this, I’d turn around and drive away. But this brave soul figured out that it was the light of the sun shining off of the mountain and that there was no explosion. It sure looks like an explosion to me.
26) I’m Still Confused
I had no idea what this was when i saw it. The left side looks like the ocean, but what about the rest? This is just one of the most beautiful places in Iceland. Who doesn’t want to move to Iceland?
27) Imagine A Whole Slew
This nail was put into this tree twenty-five years ago. Now, it has rings upon rings around it. Now imagine if someone put nails all around the tree. Or one each year on a different spot. This could be a fun experiment.
28) Ready For A Crash Landing
It looks like this cruise ship is sitting on top of this island but it’s actually so huge that it’s sitting behind it. Yep, that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Let’s just hope they don’t hit any icebergs.
29) This Isn’t Food Coloring
There’s a chemical in this family’s water that makes it turn hot pink. It looks like it would be fun to drink but I sure wouldn’t try it, even if this is a dream of yours. Remembe Mr. Deeds’ Hawaiian Punch fountains?
30) Everybody Gulp
This looks terrifying. It’s a giant sink hole that is actually eating this city building by building. I hope it doesn’t get too big or the earth will eat itself. Now that would be a scary way to go but a movie does need to be made about it.
31) A Dizzying House
I’m dizzy just looking at this house. It would be hard for me to live in a place like this because I’d have a hard time walking. Anyone else? It’s only in New Zealand that you’ll find architecture like this.
32) She’s Laughing At You
This kid spilled his drink and now the reflection of his anime is making fun of his failures. I mean, if you want anime, you probably make fun of your own failures, you don’t need someone else doing it too.
33) The World Needs This Picture
This is too precious! These baby lambs are being carried by donkeys with baby carriers. This is the first time I’ve smiled this big in a long time. We need more pictures like this to weed out the depressing ones.
34) The Red Sea
This isn’t the red sea, it’s not even water at all. It’s actually a huge dust storm that hit Australia. Remember when the Sahara sent over their dust and covered the cars in a red film? That’s what it looked like before it hit us.
35) Let This Happen Everywhere
I wish every body of water would give us back the trash we filled it with. Poluting the ocean is wrong and this ocean gives back every year so we can see how horrible we are. Thanks, Mumbai.
36) All That Stands Will Fall
These trees fell down after the storm but kept their shape. it looks like they weren’t planted very deep. This is what happens when you don’t have roots, people, you fall down at the first breeze life throws at you.
37) Want A Tiny Watermelon?
This is called a cucamelon. It looks like a cucumber and a watermelon had a baby but it tastes like a cucumber and lime had a baby. One thing we know for sure is that the cucumber is the mommy. We are just waiting for a paternity test.
38) I’d Get Out Of There
Now that’s a pretty sky. A deadly sky, but a pretty one. Isn’t it strange how the deadliest things on earth are some of the most beautiful? It’s crazy to be so mesmerized and frightened at the same time but it happens every day.
39) The Magical Hibiscus
This hibiscus changes colors throughout the day. It goes from pink to orange to yellow so quickly that you have to take pictures or you’ll think you imagined it. Why are color changing things so cool?
40) Guess That Wing
This is the wing of a dragonfly. While a lot of wings probably look just as cool up close, it’s hard to believe that many of them can compete with its sapphire masterpiece. It makes you want to paint it like stained glass.
41) Leaving Food At Work Like
This person left their summer roll on their desk for four days. It sounds disgusting but it can happen if you forget it on Friday. And at least now we get to see the beans sprouting up. It must have good fertilizer.
42) Even Cooler Underwater
This is what a wave looks like underwater. Not many people are brave enough to take a good look at a big wave up close. It’s thanks to the people who are brave enough that we get to see amazing shots like this.
43) The Hummingbird Blossom
This tree has flowers on it that look like hummingbirds. The reason we see these as hummingbirds is a process known as pareidolia, the same thing that makes us see shaped in clouds.
44) The Steps Are All That’s Left
Someone walked through this snow in snow boots then a big wind came in and blew most of the snow away. Since the snow where someone walked was packed, it stayed in place while the soft snow around it disappeared.
45) Missing A Brick
It looks like this guy is missing a piece of himself. It happens to all of us but in this case, it’s pretty apparent that it’s his heart that is missing. Either that, or the reflection of the car mirror is in the way.
46) Without The Toes
This is what dinosaur footprints look like today. Sometimes, they are more detailed than this set but this is what you’ll generally see. If you look closely, you can imagine a dinosaur walking this path.
47) Get Out The Paint
This tree looks like it’s painted but it’s actually just a rainbow tree. Or maybe a camo one. It would be magical to see a forest that looks like this! They call it the Painted Eucalyptus and I can see why.
48) That’s An Interesting Shadow
This shadow of this broken glass also holds a reflection. There must be a word for this but I don’t know it. It’s a shadow and a reflection together that creates some sort of 3D image for us. That’s pretty neat.
49) Like Easter Island
Remember when they dug up the Easter Island heads and found bodies? This is kind of like that. These fire hydrants were dug up and the bodies are bigger than the “heads.” But then again, where did we think the water was coming from?
50) To Another Realm
If I were here, I might just enter and never return. Who knows what secrets this door in Denmark holds? No one yet. But it is yet another reason to move to the happy country of Denmark.
51) An Unusal Birthmark
This cat lived with this birthmark for a while before the humans found it. Turns out, she has a spot on the roof of hermouth that’s the same color as her fur. It isn’t textured and doesn’t seem to bother her.
52) Attack Of The Drones
This dude strapped a light to his drone and flew it across a lilac field. He then took pictures of the stream and it looks like an alien spaceship just flew across the sky. You could really freak people out with this.
53) Do My Eyes Decieve Me?
Whenever you look at this long enough, you can see exactly how that shadow is cast. But at first, it’s so confusing that you’re probably sure you’re missing something. It just goes to show you that you shouldn’t make assumptions when you don’t understand.
54) Match The Sport
Do you notice anything strange? The tall girls are basketball players and the short ones are cheerleaders. It’s strange how one or the other look face. Who has a harder time shopping though?
55) Remember The Eclipse?
If you saw the eclipse last year, then you probably saw these strange circles covering the ground and surrounding objects. It’s strange how the sun can make such shadows whenever the absence of it is a shadow.
56) The Bright Side Of Lightning
This flagpole was struck by lightning and it just goes to show you why you shouldn’t leave them in the hole. It should also be noted that you should not take babies golfing, especially if leaving them by the green.
57) He Comes In Peace
This is just a guy in a sunhat. Or is it? He looks more like an alien who just walked out of the ocean and is seeking intelligent life. The age old joke still stands, there is no sign of that anywhere.
58) Want A Cube?
This is pretty insane. I can’t concentrate on this burger because it looks pixelated. But it’s actually just really awesome food art by a talented artist. Although I could use some pixelated pickles.
59) A Full Rainbow
That rainbow underneath is what a full rainbow looks like. Rainbows aren’t arches, they are circles. And the plane’s shadow is perfect set in the rainbow circle. Either this train is going to have a safe journey or land on an island like on Lost.
60) Those Aren’t Falsies
She calls it a condition known as Distichiasis. But we all know the truth. Having multiple layers of lashes is actually just lucky as long as none of them are ingrown. Look like a celebrity without a hint of mascara!
61) Claimed By The Sea
This old apartment building was washed away by the sea. Partially, at least. It stands tall in the front but it won’t be long before the ocean claims the entire thing. It’s amazing how strong something like water can be.
62) They Look Like Scales
This is an ice cave in Argentina and my mind is blown. The closer I look, the less I understand about this cave but I wouldn’t stand under it long. It looks like it’s waiting to collapse, which is a pity since it’s so beautiful.
63) A Brand New What?
Can you guess what this is? It’s a brand new needle. All that texture would have us believe otherwise but even the smoothest surfaces are actually textured if you get close enough. Imagine having eyes that could see this.
64) No, Thank You
This lava doesn’t even look real, but does lava ever look real? They call it Lava Falls and somehow it has left the trees alone for now. It won’t be long though. Lava is one of the deadliest natural disasters if you’re not well-prepared.
65) When You Drop Your Banana
This banana wasn’t injured, but someone it has developed stitches that make it appear as if Doctor Frankenstein has gotten ahold of it. They are more perfect than any stitches I’ve ever gotten and you know that will heal well.
66) The Summer Freeze
These flowers froze over during a summer blizzard in Kazbegi, Georgia. No, not in the United States! The country of Georgia. If you don’t wake up to mornings like this, count yourself lucky, but don’t forget the magic that comes along with it if you do.
