To adopt is a choice, a choice made from the heart out of love.
The Pruitt family consists of Mommy Kasi, Daddy Shane, their biological daughters Raygen, 11, and Harper, 6, and their two beautiful adopted brothers Titus and Elliot.
Last July 27, 2017, Mommy Kasi went home with a little surprise for everyone.
Kasi is seen entering their home with a newborn baby girl and as she went to the kitchen, her younger daughter exclaimed!
“Are you kidding me?”
Raygen however was shocked at first and then she bursts into tears of pure love and joy as they saw this beautiful newborn baby girl for the first time.
It was the 7th member of the Pruitt family – their youngest adopted daughter.
Their two biological daughters knew that they were planning on adopting a child and for the past 10 months, the two little girls were already excited about their newest baby.
“They would ask all the time, ‘Have you gotten a call? When is our brother or sister coming home?’” Raygen and sister Harper would often ask their parents.
Their father, M Shane Pruitt told in his interview with ABC News said that they wanted a baby sister.
It was actually M Shane who posted the video on Twitter. The video went viral and many people loved the two girl’s reaction.
They were honest, pure, and full of love. It was love at first sight and it was beyond beautiful!
Shane Pruitt explained to ABC News:
“Our kids had no clue.”
M Shane told Inside Edition that a day before the viral video, he and his wife, Kasi, received a call Tuesday night about the adoption status.
Both of them were so ecstatic! Who wouldn’t? This great news about the new addition to their family is indeed a blessing!
The next day, they were off to meet their beautiful baby girl! They didn’t tell their kids though, they wanted it to be a surprise and in any event that something didn’t go well, the kids won’t feel disappointed.
That day, Kasi and Shane left the house early in the morning and good thing everything went on smoothly and in no time they were back home. Before entering their house, they decided to capture the sweet moment of revealing this wonderful blessing to their children.
The video quickly became viral. Who wouldn’t fall in love with these young ladies? They have the sweetest and the most genuine reaction to their youngest sister!
The said video already has 1.43M views and is still being shared worldwide!
This video was actually supposed to be their birth announcement, but who would have thought that it will reach many hearts?
Today, their family of 7 is stronger than ever. They want to share to the world how adoption has made their family more loving and of course, complete.
