Listen, there are people that like music. There are people that even love music. There are people that dedicate their entire lives to the mastery of the craft. Then there are people that really feel the music. You can see it making its way through their bodies, making limbs move involuntarily, almost as if the music has taken hold of these people and turned them into some sort of freaky, girating puppet.
And then there’s this guy.
This spectacular maestro is a breed all his own.

He is exceptional at what he does. He moves, he grooves, he jumps, he dances, he directs! His band is playing the songs perfectly, and there’s even a couple guys in the back grooving along with him.
But most importantly, everyone is smiling and loving it the whole way. There’s no tension in the air of “this must be perfect.”
The band is having just as much fun as he is (although maybe not as visibly)!

He begins his dance with the little movements, like any other. He’s shakin’ it, bobbing along. But before long, he’s throwing his arms around, pointing to band members and grasping at the air.
Just watching him you can see where the music is going, and what it should be making you feel.
That’s a job well done, maestro!
And if you’re not already grooving in your seat, by the time he’s literally jumping around you’re pretty much guaranteed to be dancing along with him.

Lest you think this is just for show, or just for the sake of the video… Lest you doubt this man’s jamming authenticity…
Just check out this guy’s face, and tell me he ain’t feelin’ it.

That’s the most contagious, genuine, and outright goofy grin I’ve ever seen on a professional’s face, and I love it.
We see a couple different faces on him throughout his slick showcase of furious dancing,
my favourite of which is his funk face.

Everything about that tells me he has almost entirely forgotten about the camera that’s on him, and that is one of the most wholesome feelings in the world.
I would imagine most people are concerned that a “J.K. Simmons from Whiplash” type maestro is closer to the norm these days, and I’m really happy to see that this guy is essentially the exact opposite.
The songs the band performs are great to listen to as well, Chandelier was simply flooring with how great it sounds when performed by an orchestra!
It may be my new favourite version of the song.

The way this guy is interacting with the music is also extremely healthy, as it keeps his job fun for not only him but everyone in the room!
On top of that, his fluidity in his movements keeps all the musicians on tempo with each part of the music and where the movement is going!
It doesn’t hurt that the maestro’s dancing provides both physical and mental health benefits for him as well!

Every still of that video looks straight out of a musical, like he could use any part of it as a profile picture EASILY.
But to really get the full feel of the video, to really understand what I’m talking about, you have to see these smooth movements for yourself. You can see the full video below. Enjoy!
