This past Valentine’s day, a single father shared the day of love with his six-year-old daughter on a spaghetti date.
The father-daughter date was held at The Old Spaghetti Factory where they shared endless amounts of laughter exchanging stories over a delicious meal of pasta. As the giggles filled the restaurant, their father-daughter interaction caught the eyes and ears of a couple dining nearby. The loving relationship between the father and his daughter touched the random couple’s heart which propelled them to repay them with an act of kindness.
As the father went to pay for the bill, the waiter handed a receipt with a handwritten note scribbled on the back. In the note, the anonymous couple explained how they both grew up without a father and expressed how impressed they were with “what a great dad he is” to his little girl.

Hi there!
Sorry to spy, but my husband and I saw you out with your little date and were so impressed with what a great Dad you are.
From two adults who grew up without dads, it’s so important to have a male role model at a young age.
Keep up the good work Dad! Dinner is on us! :)
The father was touched by the couple’s kindness and posted the photo on Imgur with the caption: “I won’t lie, I teared up at the table. So, thank you random strangers. Thank you.”
