There are so many kids who suffer at the hands of their biological parents. Such was the case for this precious baby girl when she was brought to the hospital. The abuse she’d endured was obvious. When this nurse laid eyes on her, she fell in love and adopted the baby. But little did she know, the baby girl had a twin. She didn’t think twice, adopting the other little girl and keeping the siblings together.

30-year-old pediatric nurse, Jess Hamm, first saw little Delila when she was wheeled into the intensive care unit of the hospital she works at.
When the baby was admitted to the hospital, she was 14-months old, and only weighed an astonishing 11 lbs. Hamm, along with the other medical personal at the hospital, nursed the adorable baby back to health.
The nurse instantly fell in love with little Delila, she decided she wasn’t just going to nurse her back to health, she was going to adopt her.
What nurse, Jess Hamm, can only describe as “love” took over when she first held baby Delila. The 30-year-old nurse who had tried to have children of her own, but was unsuccessful, knew she had to give the baby the forever-home she deserved.
The little girl now had a loving home and a wonderful mother. Jess couldn’t have been more thrilled, she had always wanted a family. Little did she know, Delila had a twin, and she also needed a home.
After finding out Delila had a twin sister, the new mother had a big decision to make. Would she adopt her too?
Shortly after adopting Delila, Jess found out she had a twin sister named Caroline. It didn’t take long, Jess knew in her heart that she had to keep the twins together. Just like that, the young pediatric nurse was a mother of two!
The young woman now had a happy home with the twins, far from when little Delila arrived at the hospital, battered and underweight. With an instant connection to the twins, the brave nurse is enjoying every moment of motherhood.
