Hairspray is a staple for any woman’s beauty kit. It’s arguably just as important as makeup, but unlike makeup, hairspray’s uses and effectiveness extends far beyond just hair.

In fact, there are many ways in which hairspray can help you.


Remove Leather Stains

If you have stains on your leather couch or upholstery, then hairspray can help remove it. First, apply hairspray onto the stained area. Wait 5 minutes, and then wipe it dry with a cloth.

Afterwards, apply leather condition to the treated area.


Save Chalk Art

If your kids love drawing on the driveway with chalk, then this neat trick can help them out. Coat chalk drawings with hairspray in order to preserve them for a longer period of time.


Help With Threading

Threading a needle can be difficult, especially if the thread isn’t cooperating properly. Spray hairspray on the tip of the thread, and it’ll make life a whole lot easier.

If your kids are proud of their drawings or artwork, then help them out by coating it in hairspray. It will prevent it from smudging and provide extra shine.


Do Your Shoes Slip?

Spray hairspray on the insoles to prevent them from slipping off your feet.
