You may remember this gang from their last viral sensation or fighting crime on the streets of New Zealand. The New Zealand Police first gained internet stardom after releasing their “Running Man Challenge” video which got more than 31,000 views on YouTube.

“Many staff members in New Zealand Police dance in their spare time with friends and family,” their video’s description read. “We also catch people on the run every day, this was a new #runningmanchallenge for our team.”

The New Zealand Police, or NZ police, had so much success with their video that the “NZ Police Running Man Crew” decided to learn a few new tricks to make their next mark on the internet. The crew unveiled their new skills at the Hip Hop Unite New Zealand National Championships in Wellington

It was there that the NZ officers showed that they evolved from the Running Man into pulling out some sweet breakdancing moves while performing “the Carlton Dance” and to Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling.”

According to Stuff, police asked the event’s organizers if they could perform their dance at the event following the success of their Running Man Video.

“We thought it was great, our event is all about building community, so thought it was a really good fit,” Hip Hop Unite NZ event co-ordinator Gemma Laing told Stuff. “We kept it hush-hush so it would be a surprise for people.”

Laing said the NZ Police crew’s performance was a huge hit with the crowd and that they received a standing ovation. Their break dancing performance was even more popular than their Running Man Challenge video and got more than 750,000 views on YouTube.
