You may remember this gang from their last viral sensation or fighting crime on the streets of New Zealand. The New Zealand Police first gained internet stardom after releasing their โ€œRunning Man Challengeโ€ video which got more than 31,000 views on YouTube.

โ€œMany staff members in New Zealand Police dance in their spare time with friends and family,โ€ their videoโ€™s description read. โ€œWe also catch people on the run every day, this was a new #runningmanchallenge for our team.โ€

The New Zealand Police, or NZ police, had so much success with their video that the โ€œNZ Police Running Man Crewโ€ decided to learn a few new tricks to make their next mark on the internet. The crew unveiled their new skills at the Hip Hop Unite New Zealand National Championships in Wellington

It was there that the NZ officers showed that they evolved from the Running Man into pulling out some sweet breakdancing moves while performing โ€œthe Carlton Danceโ€ and to Justin Timberlakeโ€™s โ€œCanโ€™t Stop the Feeling.โ€

According to Stuff, police asked the eventโ€™s organizers if they could perform their dance at the event following the success of their Running Man Video.

โ€œWe thought it was great, our event is all about building community, so thought it was a really good fit,โ€ Hip Hop Unite NZ event co-ordinator Gemma Laing told Stuff. โ€œWe kept it hush-hush so it would be a surprise for people.โ€
