Vicki, of Dallas, Texas had been through a divorce and was desperate to learn how to make the best version of herself.

Real name Christopher Hopkins, The Makeover Guy is world-renowned for his incredible hair and makeup artistry skills.
For a number of decades, Christopher has made TV appearances and wowed audiences with his makeover transformations.
His first-ever television makeover was way back in 1990, and makes for a fascinating watch.
But the videos that have made Christopher so popular on YouTube are his makeovers from his very own Appearance Studios.
For more than a decade, everyday men and women have booked appointments with The Makeover Guy, with only one request: change.
Christopher is the best man to come to if you feel like you’ve lost your way in life.
Looking good on the outside can help you to recognize your beauty on the inside, and there’s nothing more confidence-boosting than that.
So it’s safe to say that Vicki had come to the right place after her divorce.
Speaking on camera pre-makeover, she said:
“I want to learn how to make the best me. Play up my strengths and play down my weaknesses and make me look better. Make me feel good about me.”
Vicki hadn’t actually planned to visit The Makeover Guy herself. Her sister-in-law had arranged an appointment, and told Vicki, “You’re coming too.”
Despite this, Vicki admitted that she’d been wanting to get a Makeover Guy makeover for a long time.
And now she was starting a new life after her divorce, she was keen to “present me” – but the best version of herself.
Of course, Christopher waved his magic wand and made this happen in no time at all.
By the end of her makeover, Vicki looks about as glamorous as a Hollywood superstar.
Her hair has been dyed a lighter shade of brunette and brought to life with soft curls that add volume around her face.
While her makeup is natural, it enhances her best features and allows her beauty to shine through.
It’s no surprise that this is one of the most-watched Makeover Guy videos, with more than 2 million views.
People in the comments were full of praise and support for Vicki, who could now confidently embark on her life as a newly-single woman.
