Meet Stella, a very pretty pony with severely overgrown hooves.
Poor Stella was living in a muddy pad with two other horses before she was rescued.
It really was a place of horrible conditions for this poor pony, and you can see her agitated and angry as the women try to help her.
Stella, along with the horses and other animals, were owned by an elderly couple.
They meant well but the truth is that caring for animals can be exhausting and very expensive so the struggle is real.
Poor Stella couldnโt even walk properly, and just look at her unbrushed mane.
Her overgrown hooves would hit each other or bang on to her legs.
It was heartbreaking to watch the pony move around.
One thing about Stella the pony though is that sheโs a tough cookie.
They had to calm her down and restrain her before the team could get to work.
This meant making sure the animal was very comfortable especially with the clipping and trimming part.
Watch how they cut off those overgrown hooves.
The first session took two hours and thatโs with the use of a saw!
This moved a viewer so much, she said,
โHow anyone could watch the beginning without crying or shedding tears. It will take her a while to walk correctly but seeing her run was a miracle for sure. God Bless the people that took her forever to love and care properly for her.โ
What luck though as there was no deformity despite the length and curl of Stellaโs hooves.
Understandably, Stella was a little awkward at first as she tried to walk again without those extended hooves.
She still tries to lift her feet high, but thereโs no need to do so anymore.
Hereโs another viewer feeling glad for the pony,
โPoor baby, how uncomfortable those hooves must have been for her. She transformed into a very happy girl thanks to all who helped her! Seeing her run so fast and free put a big smile on my face, youโre heroes!โ
But all it took was a few steps and soon Stella could walk without having to raise her feet.
And itโs like she knew that something had changed.
The pony could walk, run, and change directions so much faster than she was used to.
Now thatโs incredible work from her team!
And as soon as Stella was brought back to her animal friends, she ran around as fast as she could and as many times as she could.
This is Stellaโs real personality shining for everyone to see.
A pony is meant to run free on beautiful green fields after all.

The once burdened pony, stressed and frustrated, now trusts her humans even as she is strapped to have her hooves further trimmed.
Sheโs a happy, carefree pony, running like sheโs never experienced before.
