Daoirรญ Farrell, Geoff Kinsella, and Robbie Walsh are musicians from Ireland. Back in 2017, the trio traveled to England to play a music festival, but on the way back go stuck with the dreaded flight delay,a whole 2-hours!
The delay made the tension in the air thick, the musicians could sense the negative energy and didnโt like it. Just like that, they decided they were going to do something about it. So they started to play, Kinsella was on the banjo, Farrell on the bouzouki, and Walsh on the bodhran.

The mood started to change, and the people quickly positively reacted to the music.
Who doesnโt love music? The people in the Newcastle airport clearly did, flight delay or not, peopleโs frowns turned to smiles as the music started streaming out.
The trio decided to play the popular Irish song โThe Galway Girl,โ mainly because they thought it would help to pick a song that everyone knew. The transformative music prompted strangers to clap and cheer, so the musicians carried on.

With the catchy tunes flowing, no one was thinking about the 2-hour flight delay!

Luckily, Farrellโs father is an amateur photographer, he knew this was a special moment and started filming. Good thing he did, because the video went viral making it even that much better.
