In a quaint little town called Mt. Pleasant where the sun showers its golden rays on the tree lined streets and the atmosphere is cheerful, a bunch of men decided to have some fun.
The local fire department thought they would bring their own sunshine to the town they protect with their lives.
And what better way to do so than with music and a little dancing.
The axe effect does work
Ladies and gentlemen, the lip sync challenge. It’s a trend that’s been going around with the local police and fire departments of each town or city.
After all, it’s important to have a little fun on the job every once in awhile.
What’s more amusing is that these are big men. Built for emergency response and trained like athletes and yet they have no reservations in letting their inner kid out.

And what better way to get out of bed than with a little Meghan Trainor? Brush your teeth, lift some weights, and lace up those boots because it’s going to be an awesome day!
That sexy thing in the mirror is me.
Donning their uniforms and taking a spin in the truck, they have a little fun with Meghan’s “Me too”. Those suits look heavy but it doesn’t seem to faze these guys.
Trying their best to look masculine, they sing and gesture with as much vigor and manliness as they possibly can.
Is the fire getting hotter or is it just me?
What follows is a woman on her phone calling 911 as she reports a blaze. In a state of panic she awaits the arrival of her heroes.
Here they come with Charlie Puth’s “One call away”. Stepping out of the truck and running in slow motion, they proceed to respond to the fire with shots of them hosing down the place.
These guys truly are heroes.
Who needs Superman when you have firemen.
Of course defeating a blaze leaves the adrenaline pumping making a guy feel like he’s unstoppable. So why not roll the windows down and blast some rock and roll?
This older looking gentleman had that idea. Blasting Def Leppard through his car’s speakers, he makes a point of showing he’s a real tough man. Those sunglasses and that mustache certainly help his case.
Someone find this man some sugar.
It’s always nice to end the day by visiting your local cafe. And if you manage to find your buddies there, share a few stories of your day over a refreshing glass of iced coffee.
Hardworking men who risk their lives for others deserve to have a lot of fun so show them some love.
Some of the locals got together and sang with their local heroes. You can sense the love and pride they have for them and their town. And it’s a beautiful town.
These guys are loved for their hard work and sacrifices. So if you pass by Mt. Pleasant, drop by and say hello. You never know.
