Changing just one baby can be challenging, especially when that baby becomes mobile. They want to explore, which means youโre often left chasing down a naked infant whose intent on escaping.
Now multiply that times four.
The Gardner Quad Squad isโฆwell, exactly what it sounds like. The Gardners have quadruplet girls โ Indie, Esme, Scarlett, and Evangeline.
They shared what their morning routine looked like as they undressed each baby, changed them, and got them dressed for the day.

As you can imagine, it was pretty chaotic.
But mom Ashley had the routine down to a science. She lined the 10-month-old girls up on a rug. First, the sleep sacks came off, then the pajamas. Then, once each one was stripped down, it was time to change the diapers.

Of course, each time Ashley focused on one baby, the other three went rolling around.
But she had done this so many times before and knew what she was doing.
Each girl got a clean diaper, then they were dressed in onesies, pants, and headbands. Once she had one girl fully changed and dressed, Ashley handed the others a toy to chew on and shake while she tended to each sister.

Each girl got plenty of kisses and tickles throughout the process.
Ashley and Tyson Gardner may have a lot on their plate, but thereโs no doubt how much they love their daughters. They run a blog called Gardner Quad Squad, where they give regular updates on their life with quadruplets.
โ8 months ago today I went into labor and they whisked me down the hall and out popped 4 of the most beautiful babies Iโve ever seen,โ Ashley Gardner wrote when they were born.

She shared photos of each of the four girls with descriptions of their individual personalities.
They might look alike, but each is her own person!
โOur lives are forever changed and we couldnโt be more grateful,โ she wrote. โThese girls are our whole world. We love them unconditionally and forever!โ
In case you were wondering, quadruplets are really rare. Make that really, REALLY rare. They are much rarer than twins or triplets. Twins are actually more common than you might think. About one in 30 births produce twins. About one in 837 births result in triplets or higher multiples.

In 2007 alone, there were only about 3,500 sets of quadruplets in the entire world.
That being said, the numbers are rising through the use of fertility treatments and medications. The Gardner quads were conceived using fertility treatments and are technically two sets of identical twins.

Their parents run their blog sharing details about their lives and no wonder. Most people will never experience what itโs like to have four babies at once. Thatโs why they needed such a steady morning routine just to change diapers!
Our hats off for the energy and creativity it takes to care for four little ones. Mom sure makes it fun to watch below.
