Mom films herself after accidentally eating “edible” bread and it’s too funny
This is hilarious. I would have had a mini-meltdown too. I bet she thinks twice before eating her daughter's baking again.

Sometimes our parents embarrass us. Other times, though, they’re funny as hell.

They do and post things (like old baby photos) that can embarrass us to the rest of the world. But at times, they do the craziest, funniest things that will have the entire family laughing.

And here is one story of a mom that went viral because of a video she recorded, sent to her family, and was posted on YouTube.

Shelsea O’Hanlon shared a video of her mom who accidentally ate “special” bread.

The video quickly garnered 2.2 million views. Thanks to her mom’s humor despite what happened. She recently posted the uncut video, and it still has people cracking up.

The video shows her mom telling them the entire incident.

She explained that they had no power in the house that day, so she took out the food in the fridge that might go bad and placed it in the ice chest. Not all food could fit, so she left some stuff out that would not spoil easily.

There she found a bagged loaf labeled “Edible Banana Nut Spice.”

Okay, so you’re laughing now, huh? We all know what it is and what it meant, but for Shelsea’s mom, she thought that the word ‘edible’ meant it is gluten-free. So, she sliced a portion of it and ate it.

She suddenly felt weird. Not sick, but not good, either.

“It hit me like a *expletive* sledgehammer. I was looking at Facebook Stories, and I was like, ‘oh my God! Is the house moving?’” she shared in the video.

She felt like it was a rational explanation since it was windy outside but was also alarmed that what if the wind blew the house away? Hilarious, if you think of it.

She called up some friends and relatives to ask about what she’s experiencing.

It was only then when she described herself feeling like she “has been drugged and can’t remember what she ate,” that she realized that the ‘edible’ in that ‘edible banana nut spice’ loaf means POT.

Marijuana, or pot, is legal in 48 states in the country.

Fifteen states are fully legalizing cannabis (both for medical and recreational purposes), while 33 states are only legalizing it for medical use. There are only two states which prohibit any use of marijuana, and those are Idaho and Nebraska.

Edible pot comes in different forms, including baked goods.

It usually takes 30-60 minutes to kick in, and its effects last from six to eight hours. All this depends on its active ingredient, the dosage, and how much you took in.

For Shelsea’s mom, she took a slice (a half, or a slice and a half… she wasn’t so sure), and that’s probably why she felt like she’s been hit by a sledgehammer.

People found good humor in the video.

Some highlighted their favorite, funniest parts of the video or the most quotable and hilarious line that sent them laughing.

Others noted that while eating that much edible pot can be unsettling, they appreciated how their mother thought of this as a funny moment.

And a funny moment it definitely was.
