Some may think that celebrities, with their own impressive talents and fan bases, don’t have idols themselves.

But in reality, many of them look up to the legendary artists who came before them, just like the rest of us.

Even famous musicians have their own heroes, and sometimes they get the incredible opportunity to pay tribute to them.

One place where this often happens is during The Kennedy Center Honors, where stars get to celebrate the icons that inspired them.

During the 46th Kennedy Center Honors, one such memorable tribute came from singer Michael Bublé, who performed a soulful rendition of “How Can You Mend A Broken Heart” in honor of Barry Gibb.

Gibb, best known for his role in The Bee Gees, sat in the audience as Bublé’s heartfelt performance moved everyone in the room.

The entire audience was captivated, but no one felt the emotion of the moment more than Gibb himself, who watched and sang along, clearly touched by the tribute.

Known for his smooth vocals and timeless renditions of jazz and pop standards, Bublé has carved out a space for himself as one of the top vocalists of his generation.

His style, heavily influenced by greats like Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett, made him the perfect choice to honor a legend like Barry Gibb.

The song he performed, “How Can You Mend A Broken Heart,” was a massive hit for The Bee Gees in 1971.

It was their first U.S. number-one single and has since become one of their most iconic ballads. Written by Barry and Robin Gibb, the song’s melancholy lyrics and heartfelt melody have touched listeners for decades.

It’s a classic that explores the themes of love, heartbreak, and healing, making it a fitting choice for an emotional tribute.
