Men want to feel needed.

These days, many of us ladies are killing the game all on our own. We love our kids and weโ€™re great moms, we spent our younger years working our way up our careers and now weโ€™ve achieved success, and weโ€™ve got plenty of great girlfriends to lend support. But, EZ Dating Coach says, where does that leave our potential man friend?

Mike Goldstein explains that men need to feel needed. They have been conditioned to want to provide for you. But, this does not necessarily mean that you have to quit your job and lose all your hard earned independence. Mike suggests simple fixes, such as asking your man to grab you a glass of water so he can feel like heโ€™s helping you out.

Men need to feel appreciated.

Mike says that neither of you should have to compromise exactly who you are just to fit the relationship. But, if you want to have a happy love story, you need to look past the superficial imperfections we are all bound to have, and focus on how much you love their whole person. Mike explains:

โ€œImagine you get to be exactly who you are, and the other person goes, โ€œMan! I love this person exactly as they are. They need to feel that. And If the man feels that heโ€™s fully accepted, warts and all, heโ€™s going to come towards you like no man has ever come towards you.โ€

By accepting your guy, and by letting him know how much you love all of him, you open the door for a strong bond that doesnโ€™t get bogged down by insecurity. And, when you accept your man, chances are heโ€™ll accept you in total right back. Focus on giving one another reassurance.

Boundaries.

Communication can feel scary, but it shouldnโ€™t be hard with the right partner. Mike says that the right guy will just want to make you happy, so of course he wants to hear exactly what works for you!

Sometimes communicating your boundaries comes in the form of telling your man to stop doing that one thing that annoys you. Other times itโ€™s just suggesting a new idea instead of the old date night rituals. Mike explains that your dream man will want to hear these suggestions, and that communicating yourself will lead to him accepting you completely as you are.

Turns out, the things men want are pretty simple.
