Not all wedding locations can accommodate a dance floor and not everyone likes to dance, so some couples are incorporating wedding-themed games that celebrate the bride and groom into their events. After all, the wedding day should be about the bride and groom.
Some couples go all out with their wedding game selections, which range from Legos, scavenger hunts, badminton, card games, and puzzles.
But one couple came up with the perfect game to keep their family and friends entertained.
It also helped wedding guests to get to know the bride and groom better as a couple.
The video was posted on the Love What Matters Facebook page where it was shared more than 112,000 times! The way the game is played is that the newlyweds sit with their backs to each other. They take off their shoes and hand one of them to their spouse.
The DJ or MC then will ask them a series of questions and the bride and groom has to reply by saying whether they or their spouse are more like to do whatever the MC asked.
They answer the question by raising the corresponding shoe, their shoe or their spouse’s shoe.
The MC came up some great questions like, “Who’s most likely to get lost,” “Who’s most likely to deal with a spider in the bathtub,” and “Who’s most likely to give the other one food poisoning.”
Apparently, both the bride and groom think they are the better driver, the better kisser and both think the other one is the messiest.
They did, however, agree on some things. Like the wife having the better sense of style and being more likely to use up all the hot water. When it came to the better dancer, they both agreed that the groom was best in that department.
“I’m almost afraid to ask this one,” said the MC. “Who is the most stubborn?”
Without any hesitation, they both agreed that the bride was the most stubborn. Their guests at this couple’s wedding had the best time watching them answering questions, clapping and laughing the entire time.
Lots of people commented on the Love What Matters Facebook page about their own experiences playing the game.
“This is the most amazing game ever!” said one woman. “It’s even better for your family and friends if you argue over some of the questions.. we had so much fun and a lot of our friends have repeated the game in their weddings.”
