Do you remember your wedding proposal? Maybe you haven’t been there yet, but for those of us who have, wasn’t it a unforgettably wonderful experience? The phrase “Will you marry me?” is such a simple, yet incredibly emotional and powerful, line.
From 1,000 ft in the air, here’s how a Texas man — Cameron Ross, proposed to his girlfriend, Kenzie. It was a proposal for the record books.
After nearly 60 spray paint cans and with the help of his father, Cameron Ross prepared a sign large enough for his girlfriend to read from an airplane, thousands of feet above the ground.
In a video depicting the whole process, we can see that making the sign was a tedious process. Made from 25 king-sized flat sheets (9 foot by 9 foot each), the project required a lot of preparation. After months of hard work, Ross and his father were finally able to put together a large sign that read: “McKenzie I love you! Will you marry me?”
With the sign complete and in place, all Cameron needed was to get his girlfriend in the aircraft.
Kenzie was excited to be taking a romantic flight but has no idea what is waiting for her as a surprise on the ground below. What Kenzie thought was a just another romantic date turned into an unforgettable experience.
In the beginning, the pilot flies the couple over their house and neighborhood for some sightseeing.
After flying around a bit, the pilot then starts making his way towards the sign. As Kenzie is looking around at the beautiful scenery, she spots something…
After reading the sign from above, Kenzie shouts “Are you kidding me? Oh my God!” Just look at Kenzie’s reaction after she reads the words, “Will you marry me?”
It’s just wonderful because it really shows how surprised she was. It was without a doubt that Kenzie said, “Yes!”
