Mike Alancourt, who goes by @nopancakestoday on Instagram, is an aspiring ASL/English interpreter from Jacksonville, Florida, with some serious skills. For a guy who calls himself “mostly dork, part hippy,” he is hiding away some fly moves.

When Alancourt showed up to a hip-hop cardio class one afternoon at 1Vibe Dance studio, we’re guessing that neither former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader-turned-choreographer Jennifer Colvin nor her regular students knew what was going to happen.

After just one hour of practice, Alancourt learned the moves to a complicated dance sequence that was captured on video at the end of class.

While he called it “a lot to absorb in an hour,” his routine looks pretty flawless!

The video has now gone viral, with even celebrities like Will Smith sharing it, earning it another 11 million views!

We don’t know what kind of dance experience the 40-something has, but it’s clear this isn’t his first time getting his groove on!

A teary-eyed Alancourt expressed his thanks for all the kind words on Instagram, implying that he’s had some of this energy pent up for a long time.

“Thank you SO MUCH for all your comments and messages. This whole thing has just been bonkers and I am so SO grateful to anyone who took the time.

I spent a lot of years as a prisoner of my own fear, so to my mom, and to my Springfield family… Thank you so much for the endless support. These past few years have been amazing. It feels so good to be free again.”

In fact, there was such an amazing response to Alacourt’s post that he and some folks from 1Vibe Dance studio ended up on the Ellen DeGeneres show shortly after.

Even Post Malone, the rapper whose song Alancourt and company were dancing to in the video took to Twitter to say how awesome it all was.

And it looks like everyone in the video is having a great time. We’re not surprised since research has shown that dance can promote wellness reduce tension, chronic fatigue, and other conditions related to stress. It can even help the brain produce cortisol and make those who engage in dance happier.

Maybe we all need to put on our dancing shoes. You don’t have to be as talented as Alancourt to reap the benefits of movement.

In fact, we dare you not to move along just a bit as you scroll down and watch all of Alancourt’s performance below.
