The only good thing about being in a hospital is when youโre celebrating new life and peeping in the nursery, receiving great news from your doctor, or when a friend (or you yourself) finally gets discharged.
Otherwise, itโs pretty hard to stay in a chipper mood while youโre in there especially if the smell of medicine, the sight of gurneys, and the general atmosphere easily affects you.

And since weโre on the subject of hospitals, hereโs a delightful video of a patientโs reaction upon learning he would finally be discharged after four days.
He was so overjoyed at the news that he just had to dance it out.

He was standing by the nursesโ station when he felt the urge to dance.

It wasnโt just a casual, goofy dance either. This guy was good.

โThis like literally so hard to do Iโm African and I canโt do that!โ

He may have looked like he was concentrating on the dance but every few seconds, a smile would escape his lips.

Weโre wondering how the doctors and nurses reacted upon seeing this young fellow dancing for joy. Theyโve definitely seen a myriad of reactions from patients and their families, but weโre guessing this particular scenario doesnโt happen very often.

While we donโt exactly know why he had to be hospitalized for four days, weโre just as ecstatic that he was finally able to leave.

Being diagnosed with an illness and finding out you need to be hospitalized for a number of days is definitely nerve-wracking.
So when youโre met with good news, you definitely need to celebrate.
Thereโs nothing like that incredible feeling of knowing everythingโs going exactly as it should be; when things just feel right, and when you realize your prayers have been answered.

This is just the kind of content you would want to show up on your social media timeline. With all the negative, anxiety inducing news we receive on the daily, videos as refreshing as this give us the kind of break we need from it all.
The happy dance may have lasted for just 24 seconds but isnโt it just the perfect reminder to celebrate all wins, big and small?

Itโs easier to be pessimistic, but itโs so much more rewarding to be happy.
Life doesnโt always have curve balls ready to be thrown your way.
When you see things through a happier perspective and develop an attitude of contentment and gratitude, youโll realize just how much there is to dance about.

So in case you needed to be reminded of the better things in life, hereโs a little something that will hopefully compensate for the not-so-good stuff youโve encountered over the past few days.
Press play and let this manโs dance put a smile on your face.
