Everyone is struggling with something in their life, but some people can struggle more than others. And often times, we see people struggling. Even if we donโt know them personally, it doesnโt matter.
We can simply go for a walk and see people sleeping in the street, especially if we live in bigger cities. It is always a heartbreaking moment and one that often can leave us feeling helpless.
When we see someone struggling so bad in life, our normal human instinct kicks in and we want to help them. The only problem is that we donโt always know how.
Earlier this year, a video was uploaded to Youtube that showed a random person who came along and managed to change two brothersโ lives.
The two brothers were sleeping on the ground outside in broad daylight. They had dirt on their faces, they were wearing old clothes, and it was just clear overall that they were struggling. It was very possible that they did not have food to eat or a place to live.
At first, when the good samaritan approached the two sleeping brothers, he just woke them up to ask for directions.
The brothers immediately shot up and were very helpful as they pointed the stranger in the right direction.
But then the stranger changed the conversation topic and began to ask the brothers about their food situation. He asked if they needed food and they said that yes, it would be much appreciated. They specified food that is ready to eat is better, as they have no place to cook.
That was all the information the stranger needed. He then went straight to the supermarket to load up his cart.
The good samaritan loaded picked up all of the good stuff: saucy meat, bread, cookies, crackers, yogurt, juice and more.
After the little shopping trip, the man was back at the brothersโ spot in no time. Once again, he had to wake them up (youโd have low energy too if you were so low on food!). When they woke up, they were obviously so happy and thankful.
The two homeless brothers woke up to bags of food.
What a dream, to wake up to all of this food! The man approached them with bags and showed them all of the stuff that was inside. The two men were beside themselves and overwhelmed with gratitude.
The two brothers told the man that he saved the day, he pretty much changed their lives! They would even look at certain products like candy and you could tell that they were overcome with nostalgia. The man assured them that there was plenty of whatever they wanted, too.
The two brothers were so thankful, they stood up and shook the manโs hand and told him how much they appreciated his good deed. The man sounds so happy from behind the camera, you can tell he is just a wonderful, good-hearted man.
Itโs not every day that you see people do such wonderful deeds like this but when you do, it really is magical.
Itโs also teaches us that itโs not too crazy to think that people can have so much kindness in their hearts. It might break our hearts to see people out on the streets but itโs good to know that we have the power to make their day and in general, make a change!
