Sometimes, you’re just faced with problems that have no easy solutions. We all hate having to do things the hard way, but sooner or later we’re going to have to break a sweat. It might be when you’ve got to fix the car, chop some branches, or pull some nasty stuff out of the drain.
In this man’s case, he had to find some way to exit the parking spot he was in.
All thanks to some genius who parked their car in the way of the exit.
The man, whose name is Tan Xianbin, had a little 3-wheeled-scooter that he parked outside. A vehicle this small should usually make things convenient. But this situation he was forced into was anything but.
See, while Tan was gone, another driver had parked their car in the only space where Tan could back out.
Tan’s scooter was already between two cars.
The only way he could exit was to go reverse in the scooter, but now he couldn’t do that either.
We’ve had our fair share of having to deal with irresponsible driving and parking from someone else. It doesn’t happen often, but it sure is frustrating as heck when it happens.
It might be a while before the driver comes back too. Again, talk about irresponsible. Some people, you know?
Boxed in now between 3 cars, Tan desperately tries angle after angle to back out of the parking space. None of it seemed to work. He double and triple-checked his line of attack, and would back up in the scooter a bit to see how far it might get.
The situation was looking worse by the minute.
He was as boxed in there as you could possibly be.
Tan had to think of something. He had places to be and couldn’t just sit and wait for the driver to come back. Though I’m sure many of us would like to give the driver a piece of our mind if we were in Tan’s shoes.
But that’s all easier said than done. It’s not like he could call to have someone else’s car towed. And he certainly isn’t going to risk damaging both vehicles by forcing his way through. So what options did he have left?
With no other way, Tan just bit the bullet and did the craziest thing.
He decided to push the car out of the way. By himself.
Yes, I did say it was crazy. A typical four-seater will weigh over a ton, and with the handbrake engaged meant that the wheels wouldn’t roll to help with it. So the friction between the tires and pavement was another factor.
Nonetheless, Tan had to leave so he just did it.
He planted his feet firm on the ground, gripped the car’s fender, and pushed with all his might.
Good thing he paid attention to his form, otherwise, he might have pulled several muscles. But it was working. Inch by inch, the car slid as he pushed.
He actually did it. The madman!
Now, all he had to do was get back on his scooter and leave that place like the boss he was. I bet the driver was a little confused when he returned and found his car a few inches tilted to the right. But this was that guy’s fault, after all.
