Embrace your age.
Age is just a number. As long as you choose to have joy in your heart, you will look beautiful inside and out. However, it doesn’t hurt to have a skincare routine that will keep you looking younger no matter your age.
Want some tips that actually work? Here’s the first one:
The important first step
Always use a primer to prep your face before applying makeup. This will help cover the wrinkles, and lines on your face.

Apply undereye concealer
Concealers are a must because they help lighten dark circles and discolorations. Plus they can cover age spots! Always pick the right shade of concealer according to the area you want to conceal.
If it’s under the eye, pick a shade that’s lighter than your skin tone. If it’s on the rest of your face, pick a color that’s the same skin tone.
Apply concealer to dark spots and wrinkles
Once you’ve applied the first coat of concealer, change your concealer to one with a radiant or luminizing formula in liquid form. Use a brush and dab a tiny amount on the dark spots and the wrinkles.
Use your finger to dab and blend. Make sure to use a light dab. Be gentle on your skin.
Apply concealer to age spots on hands
Do you love makeup products that work on other body parts as well? Concealers are also a great way to hide age spots on your hands.
Can you believe that? Just dab a little concealer on the age spot and use your finger to blend it with your skintone. Done!
Apply foundation
When applying foundation, use the palm of your hand as your palette. You can do the same for concealer. Your palm has more space than your fingertip so it’s easier to dab. This time, use a light sponge to apply the foundation. Pat and apply.
When you get to the spots with concealer, just apply it to the sides of the concealer. Using foundation will give you a nice and even skintone.
Apply lip liner
Applying lipstick is going to be a two-part process. First, use a lip liner to outline your lips. Then fill in the rest of the lips with the liner. Now for the next part!
Add glowing gloss on the bottom lip
To make your lip liner come alive, especially if you used a matte color, apply a layer of glowing gloss on the bottom lip.
Blend with your finger first before pursing your lips for the final touch! Now you’ve got a bright smile.
Apply powdered blush
How will you get your glow on? It’s a combination of blush, bronzer for contour, and highlighter. Let’s start with the blush.
Use a wide brush and dab a little blush on the apples of your cheeks, on your forehead, and under your eyes to tame the brightness of the concealer.
Apply bronzer for contour
Using bronzer for contour will help define your face shape. Using a wide brush, apply it in a downward stroke from the top of the ear to the bottom of the cheeks.
Plus you can also contour the bridge of your nose with bronzer, as well as along your jaw line.
Add highlighter
To give your skin and makeup a glow, apply highlighter on the apples of your cheeks and your forehead. Use a tiny brush to apply highlighter on the inner corner of your eye as well.
This small move will wake your eyes up as well.
Before and After
Makeup shouldn’t be used to hide your insecurities or the fountain of youth. It needs to be treated as a way to enhance your existing features and evening out the flaws.
You can see just a few simple tricks and her already beautiful features are accentuated with soft glow.
Always have water with you
One of the best ways to have great-looking skin is to always stay moist. No, we’re not talking about moisturizer.
We’re talking about drinking lots of water every day. Make sure that you have water everywhere you go.
Exfoliate
Our skins regenerate every 30 days. Every 30 days, dead and dry skin piles up on our faces and skin. How do we get rid of it?
Simply by exfoliating. You can do it during your nighttime routine or you can do it during your shower. Just exfoliate.
Wear bright and beautiful colors
