Alex, a talented, young chef from Minneapolis, found himself in a rut.
The 30-year-old was a pro at slinging sandwiches, pizzas, and appetizers during his shifts at Wilde Cafe & Spirits. What he wasn’t good at, however, was figuring out what to do with his style.
Alex didn’t like his appearance, and not only was he feeling insecure, he had gone through a few tough breakups— and their effects seemed to show in the way he presented himself.
In a monotone voice, he tells Christopher Hopkins:
“My previous girlfriend broke up with me. My most recent girlfriend has broken up with me. I’m 30 years old.”
Although he was handsome, Alex hadn’t cut his hair in nearly five years and didn’t shave his face with a razor much. Luckily, however, it looked like it may just be his lucky day.
In a video posted to the Makeover Guy’s channel, we see Christopher Hopkins, the Makeover Guy, give Alex an unbelievably handsome, new look.
Turns out Alex had recently read an article that said getting a makeover could make you feel better. That day, when he happened to run into the Makeover Guy, he knew the universe was giving him a sign.
Fans of Christopher Hopkins know it’s unusual for him to style men. Generally, the renowned hairstylist tends to work with mature women, helping them regain the confidence they’ve lost in their older years.
Alex may not be an older woman, but it’s clear he shares the same problems and insecurities. Luckily for Alex, The Makeover Guy is ready to make his dreams come true.
“I like to make my significant other happy,” Alex says.
“But now, I’m trying to make myself happy.”
Christopher grabs hold of Alex’s hair and swiftly chops the man’s long locks.
“You have a bob,” The Makeover Guy exclaims.
Christopher then arranges the hair, trimming it into a GQ-style. He also goes the extra mile by waxing Alex’s eyebrows and trimming his beard.
By the time Christopher is done, Alex looks like he stepped off the pages of a magazine.
The style makes him look years younger and healthier— and even his coworkers can’t believe it’s really the Alex they know.
Since being uploaded to YouTube in March of this year, Alex’s sexy transformation has been viewed over 350,000 times. Comments on the video read:
