Want to live like a king? Well, you can live in a castle for the same price of a house in some parts of the U.S. like L.A. or New York.

And this just isn’t any castle, it’s the castle from Game of Thrones.

You probably remember Gosford Castle as one of the settings for Riverrun on GoT Season 3. It’s located on Mullaghbrack Road in the Northern Ireland village of Markethill.

It’s the castle where Rob and Catelyn hung out before heading to The Twins for the Red Wedding, according to BuzzFeed.

It’s also the site where Robb Stark executed Richard Karstark after he was being sentenced for treason.

The famous castle is currently on the market with a starting price of £500,000 which is about $656,000 in U.S. dollars.

That’s cheaper than the average home in Los Angeles which is $677,400.

But technically the price only includes a portion of the castle.

The buyer would own about one-third of the castle. According to E! News, the part of the property for sale has 15 bedrooms and more than 10 bathrooms.

The castle does not have a heating system so you’ll get the full drafty castle effect.

“Per the listing, the castle could be converted into six luxury apartments that would be about 3,500 square feet each,” the listing on Maison Real Estate’s listing says. “Some would even have rooftop gardens.”

The website also suggests that the castle could be reverted to a hotel as it was once used.

“The possibilities are endless and only on inspection can this castle and its beautiful location be truly appreciated,” the listing says.

And the inside is just as stunning as the outside. It was built in the mid-1800s by the second Earl of Gosford, Archibald Acheson.

It was designed in the Norman Revival style by London architect Thomas Hopper.

Gosford Castle was occupied by the Earls of Gosford until 1921. It was actually commandeered during the Second World War and used as a camp to accommodate troops and prisoners of war

After the war, the castle was sold to the Ministry of Agriculture who turned it into the 590-acre demesne as Gosford Forest Park.

It was eventually designated as Northern Ireland’s first conservation forest in 1986.

Gosford Castle was again used by the military during The Troubles, an ethno-nationalist conflict, before it was run as a hotel from 1983.

The castle got a makeover in 2006 when it was bought by Gosford Castle Development Limited who put more than $5.2 million into turning it into 23 luxury residences.

“The restoration was undertaken by artisans and craftsmen with a focus on retaining the character and historic integrity of the castle,” the listing states. “Particular care was taken to use existing features such as staircases and vaulted ceilings and even to use original color schemes wherever possible. These apartments are extremely popular and command great interest when they are placed on the market.”

After that, it was used as a set and hotel for Games of Thrones. You can find more pictures of the castle here.
