Watching little kids doing a stage show is one of the cutest things one can possibly expect to see. This is a sight that can make you go aww as well as help you relish your own childhood memories.
Today, we are being treated to such a sweet and emotionally melting experience from a YouTuber Sara C. Heavens 2 Betsy, where she filmed her child Betsy’s first school dance recital.

The little princesses on the stage were dressed as sailors and putting up the cutest dance recital that has the power to melt even the hardest of hearts.
The girls on the stage were dancing to the famous nursery poem “Yankee Doodle Went to Town” which is credited to Mother Goose, an unidentified literary figure whose poems and rhymes are one of the most famous ones.

Although, every little girl was dancing to her own rhythm viewing their innocent looks and unwarranted steps were enough to make anyone’s heart melt.

There is also another specialty about this first dance recital for the girls – embracing the classical sailor attire.
The song was presented in such a way as to command military band feel. Of course, from this tender age, the girls are being taught to admire and respect the special forces and the people who serve the country selflessly.

Another thing that is so special about this cute video is the cooperation and coordination between all the girls on stage.
As you can see, all the girls on stage are working together to get through the dance and remember every step.

Despite being watched by many at the time, the somewhat shy little princesses were bold enough to do what they wanted to do with innocence and commitment.
These are some of the true examples of humanism which, quite sadly, are hard to find among the grown-up adults.
No wonder we have the proverb: “Children are the face of God.”

If I had to pick the most special moment in the entire 4:38 minutes video, I would choose the moment when all the girls – starting from the left side – started joining hands with each other to finish off the Yankee Doodle song.

It was such a remarkable and cute example of unison. And nearly at the end of the video, there was one funny moment which will make you LOL, just like it made the whole auditorium burst into laughter.

When the song ended, the girls were to make a train-like line to finally go to the backstage.
Just as one of the girls started to form the “girly train,” she accidentally turned face to face with the second girl by her and grabbed her face instead. This made the whole audience go on a laughter spree.

However, the instructor stepped in and instantly corrected the mistake, which was indeed an innocent one. And amid the clapping of the whole auditorium, the little sailor girls made their way behind the curtains to the backstage.

Well, I think I have said enough about this delightful show as you need to really see it to feel the kind of warmth I am feeling now.
