Parenting can be tricky, especially for dads who just want to protect their daughters. This adorable little girl plays a funny trick on her father, by announcing that she officially has a boyfriend. She’s way too young to have a boyfriend, but the hilarious little girl lets it be known in front of the whole family.
The 4 dreaded words every dad hates to hear: “I have a boyfriend.”
Josie and Callie, are young cousins who trolled a room full of family members with boyfriend announcements and went viral for it
Back in 2017, a video went viral for it’s endearing and hysterical qualities. Two girl cousins, one who was still a toddler and the other just a little bit older, stopped the whole room to make an announcement.
Little Josie led the way, speaking up and getting everyone’s attention.
Once she gets everyone’s focus, the cute little girl starts to get a little embarrassed
Josie starts off by letting everyone know she has something important to tell them:
“Everybody, I have an announcement to make.” Says Josie, her cousin Callie reiterates it for her yelling: “Everybody be quiet.” Josie then makes the big announcement: “It’s a little weird, but, I do have a boyfriend.”
That’s when she tells everybody about her boyfriend, but she doesn’t get the response she was expecting
Instead of telling her she’s too young for a boyfriend, they flip it on the little girl and begin to tease her about seeing her kiss a boy names Eli which she swiftly denies.
“I saw you kissing Eli at the musical,” says Josie’s mother, her father then adds: “You were smooching with Eli?”
Lucky for Josie, her cousin Callie takes some of the heat off of her by making a boyfriend announcement of her own
After being embarrassed by her parents, Josie says she dumped Eli and got a new boyfriend “in college.” Callie then comes in to take the pressure off of her cousin by saying she too has a boyfriend named Maddox.
When Callie goes a step further saying that her boyfriend even “kissed her one time,” you can see the adults in the back round with a hilarious reaction to the information. Callie keeps it going by saying two boys kissed her at the same time before Josie jumps back into the fun and games.
Josie isn’t going to let her cousin outdo her, so she gets back into the mix
After Callie tells the family about all the boys kissing her, Josie playfully says:
“That usually happens to me a lot,” her dad then says: “it better not! You better not be smooching, either of yah.”
People on the internet got a good laugh out of the trick these cousins played, it went viral and racked up millions of views. Honestly, these little girls are so lovable it’s no surprise, they could probably go viral for anything they said. This isn’t the only video of Josie, she also has one of her saying the ABC’s backward and it’s super impressive!
The video has been viewed almost 3 million times, with 34k liking the funny video
