Most little girls across the country dream of meeting Elsa the Ice Queen, and while most parents fly their kids to Disney World to make the happen, this dad decided to do those parents one better: he performed a duet with his daughter. Recorded in their vehicle, this little girl and her dad perform a surprisingly lovely duet to the song, “Let It Go.” In fact, their rendition is so cute, it gives Elsa a run for her money.
Blakely is just three years old, yet her voice and her moves would make you think she’s much older. As she belts out the lines to Disney’s most recognized show tune, she throws her hands up and her head back to emphasize her words. Dad, Billy, puts his own unique spin on the song,
Watching this video, it’s hard to tell who is more enthused by singing this song: Dad or Blakely. In the beginning, Blakely shyly sings along to the song, but Dad ain’t having none of it! “Louder!” he encourages his daughter. When she steps up her singing game, Dad busts out his own dance moves before setting a beat of his own.
In a cute display of daddy-daughter affection, the pair continues to rock out to “Let It Go,” impressing Mom and YouTubers everywhere.
There are dozens of stories on the Internet every day about parents who go above and beyond, and this Dad definitely deserves some recognition. Not only is he not too cool to rock out to Disney, but the fact that he knows the words shows how involved he is in his daughter’s life.
