For many little girls, meeting a princess from a fairy tale would be a dream come true. For one little girl, a bride on the streets of Seattle became that princess.
Imgur user Scott Robertson shared photos of his beautiful wife, Shandra Lerma, on their wedding day; he also shared a precious and heartwarming story.
“My wife and I got married last February, and during the photo shoot this little girl and her mom happened to be walking by,” Scott wrote. “The little girl thought my beautiful wife was the Princess from her favorite book (the one she’s holding).”
Since the little girl just happened to notice the bride during their photo shoot, their photographer Stephanie Cristalli was able to capture the precious moment in some adorable pictures.
Not only was the little girl meeting the princess from her book in real life, she even received a rose from Shandra’s bouquet. The sweet toddler’s mom told the Robertson, “your wife is forever the Princess of Ballard to her.”
The photos below capture this charming moment and they are winning over the hearts of thousands.
The little girl is beaming with joy, but also in total awe, while in the presence of a “princess.”
Although the cute toddler most likely isn’t reading that novel, she sure seems to love the princess on the cover; of course, she thinks Shandra looks just like her!
It was such a magical and special moment for the little girl — getting a flower was the icing on the cake.
It’s pretty obvious — her smile says it all.
