If you’re a reality TV fan, you have probably heard the name Kyan Douglas before. He is a very well-known television stylist that transformed hundreds of lives on the show ‘Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.’
While out promoting his new show ‘The American Barber,’ Douglas teamed up with another stylist to give a man one of the most incredible makeovers you’ve ever seen.
Kyan Douglas appeared on an episode of ‘Rachael,’ the Rachael Ray show. On this episode, Douglas and another stylist named Elena Linares were going to completely transform a burly, bearded man’s look into something much more clean-shaven and distinguished.
Not only is Douglas a very successful and talented stylist, Linares owns her own barber shop called Razzle Dazzle. Linares’ shop is a burlesque-themed men’s barbershop where gentlemen can get a haircut, a show, and a bourbon all in one stop.
Long-bearded and shaggy-haired Jeff says he was going through a midlife crisis. He came to the team for help in achieving a new trim-downed look.
Jeff appeared on the stage along with his wife. He is wearing overalls with a brown tee-shirt underneath; his stringy long hair comes down past his shoulders and his gray beard almost matches his hair in length.
“How far are you willing to go, my friend?” Rachael Ray asks Jeff before he embarks on his makeover journey.
“She married me with nothing on my face, so I’m willing to go that far,” Jeff said referring to his wife anxiously standing next to him.
The show’s staff leads Jeff backstage where Douglas and Linares would work their magic on him. The next time he would appear before the crowd, and his wife, he would look like an entirely different man. No one expected just how different he would look!
Jeff reappeared on stage after his makeover and his new look is unrecognizable. The beard is completely gone, the hair is trimmed, the clothes are dapper. It’s hard to believe it’s the same person.
Jeff’s wife gasps and covers her mouth in complete shock. She can’t wrap her head around the fact that she’s looking at her husband. She even begins to tear up. His wife joins him on stage and she seems to be unable to keep her hands off her ‘new’ hunky husband.
“Daytime! Daytime! Daytime rules!” Rachael jokingly tells the couple as they embrace and kiss on stage.
The transformation in the video below isn’t only incredible, but Jeff’s reaction when he sees himself for the first time is absolutely magical.
