You never know what kids will say or do, but it’s almost always funny.
Carden Corts recently made the world laugh when his weather report was shared by his dad, Charlie. Carden was assigned a project at school, and he was excited about it from the beginning. His assignment was to make a weather forecast video.
This is the kind of thing most kids would be excited about, right?
Carden was really excited because his dad happens to work in the video production industry. Carden knew his dad would be able to help him make a great video, and he was right.
Charlie used his expertise to help Carden make a professional video that had a real news background. Carden dressed the part, too. He wore a blazer over his graphic tee. He looked adorable standing in front of the camera, but he wasn’t done yet.
He attempted to give a grownup weather report, but he struggled with some of the bigger words.
At one point, he has a hard time saying “meteorologist.” He wasn’t too enthusiastic about the weather, but when it comes time for him to announce his sponsor, his mood changed.
He couldn’t wait to talk about Pokémon. What kid wouldn’t be excited about that? Then it’s time to get serious again. His assignment was to talk about the weather, not Pokémon. So, Carden hit the magic button that would simply change the background screen for most weather forecasters. It did much more than that for him.
Carden was transported to the scene of a hurricane.
Water was blowing through the streets, and trees were bent over by the power of the wind. Carden appeared to be struggling to stay put as the wind pushed against him. He opened his mouth and tried to scream into the storm.
He pushed the button again, and he’s in the middle of a blizzard. There was so much ice and snow blowing around him that it’s hard to make out what’s in the background. He held himself and shivered believably. It’s almost like he was really there and really cold.
The screen changed again, and all of a sudden, he was in a tropical climate on spring break.
People were dancing on the beach in the background, so Carden showed off some of his own dance moves. He seemed to be pretty passionate about the weather now.
Carden may not grow up to be a meteorologist, but he sure has a good shot at it. He has a good presence in front of the camera and clearly feels comfortable acting and performing. It doesn’t hurt that he has a dad who happens to be skilled in video editing and producing. Maybe he and his dad can team up again sometime to make other videos.
You never know what kind of project Carden will be assigned or when his dad’s skills will come in handy.
Of course, a video this cute has to be shared. Carden’s dad just couldn’t resist sharing it on YouTube, where it has received almost 2 million views. Of course, everyone loved it.

Carden may be young, but he is already a little YouTube star.
Of course, his class had as much fun watching his video as he had making it. Other parents were probably a little upset that they couldn’t help their kids make videos as good as Carden’s, but then again, they probably don’t have the gear or experience that his dad has. Hopefully, Carden and his dad continue to work together and have fun making more videos in the future.
