In a relationship, not everything is about the big surprises and huge celebrations. More often than not, it is the little things done out of pure love that makes being together a whole lot better.

Singer and song writer John Legend was about to fly from London to DC when he learned about how his wife, model Chrissy Teigen, was doing at home. The mom of two was having a rough weekend and she was not being herself.

Hearing about this, John Legend did not hesitate to fly straight to LA and go home to his wife of six years. It may be a few hours of non-eventful bonding time in front of the television, but Chrissy did not miss the love and care that John proved just by being with her. She then shared the said moment on her Twitter account.

“I do not normally brag about John, as it is my schtick to make fun of him always,” she wrote. “But he flew from London to LA instead of London to DC to have dinner with me and watch Love Island UK because I haven’t been feeling like myself lately. Just a few hours but it meant a lot. Thank u.”

That is what you call “true love”! But, as if that was not sweet enough, Chrissy also shared how John decided to fly on his “least favorite airline” just so he could be with her as soon as he can.

Chrissy did not mention the airline, of course, but we all know what she meant. John Legend is definitely the sweetest husband!

Just last month, the celebrity couple celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary. Chrissy met John on the set of his music video for his 2006 hit “Stereo”. They dated for four years before John finally proposes to Chrissy in 2011. Their wedding took place in 2013 in Como, Italy.

They had their daughter, Luna, in April 2016 and their son, Miles, in May 2018. Chrissy had both of their children thru in vitro fertilization. She was also open about the fact that she struggled with post partum depression after having both kids.

After six years of marriage, this power couple has surely kept us interested in their lives, maybe because they are always honest about the things they go through, especially Chrissy. She has been known for her honesty and people love that about her.

Just recently, Chrissy and John opened up about their marriage in the cover story for the December 2019 issue of Vanity Fair. In there, John shared how he joked with Barack Obama about how “our wives are more loved than we are now.”

The couple also talked about love, their traumas and politics, something Chrissy is totally outspoken about. All in all, the story shares a lot about the couple’s daily life, stories from their past and how they spend each day with love in their family of four.
