Did you know that what month of the year you are born in could affect how likely you are to become successful?
At least that’s what one study published in The Journal Of Sciences says. According to researchers Miah M. Adel, Saiyeeda F. Hossain, and Hannah Johnson, the best birthday months are either January or February. Those who are born in the first two months of the year are more likely to go on to become successful.
However, the catch is in how they defined success. Is it defined by money, health, or life accomplishments? What do you think?
It turns out, in this study, they cared mostly about fame.
They wanted to see if the month a person was born in would influence their likelihood of becoming a celebrity.
They also weren’t specifically interested in birth months per se, but instead, the researchers were more interested in zodiac signs.
The team took a sample of 100 celebrities all hailing from different walks of life.
According to the abstract, the sample included “politicians, natural scientists, social scientists, Authors of literary works, social workers, humanitarian workers, business personnel, sports icons, singers, actors, actresses,” and more.
In this group of celebrities, the most common zodiac sign was Aquarius, which astrologists generally agree corresponds to people born between January 21st and February 20th.
The number of celebrities in their sample born within this time period was significantly higher than those born in other months.
Could Aquarius be the most important determining factor in whether one becomes a successful celebrity or not?
The team decided to expand the study to see if their results continued to hold true when tested against a larger sample size. They first increased the sample to 200 celebrities, then 300. In all cases, the most common zodiac sign among the celebrities turned out to be Aquarius.

Still not convinced that being an Aquarius is an important determiner of success?
Interestingly enough, other studies have also come to similar conclusions.
Research released by the UK Office of National Statistics says that babies born in January are the most likely to go on to become doctors.
Another study of S&P 500 companies found that 10% of CEO’s were born in January as well, making January one of the highest CEO-producing months. The months that produced the lowest numbers of CEOs were June and July.
So there you have it, folks.
Even if you don’t really believe in astrology, there is some reason to think that the first few months of a new year might be the best time to be born, at least as far as success is concerned.
Although, ultimately, it’s still up for debate.
