Shay Bradley was a joker to the very end. Then even after the very end, he still got one more good joke in.
In fact, the last joke he made might have even been his funniest.
We are all going to go someday and if you can go out on a joke, then why not do so? Funerals can be such somber experiences but not the one for this Irish grandpa. He made sure that his loved ones were able to get a good chuckle and smile in while grieving.
Irish grandfather left a lasting legacy.
Bradley is survived by his four living children and several grandchildren. He was a veteran of the Irish Defence Force and led a full and accomplished life.
Not surprisingly, he developed a bit of a reputation as a prankster during his time on Earth. Few would have imagined that his prankster ways would continue even after his death, however.
One last prank. One last epic prank.
The extent to which Shay Bradley loved a good joke was evident when his coffin was being lowered into the ground at his funeral. Bradley had planned something special for this moment. It would be something nobody who attended his funeral would ever forget.
“Let me out!”
Bradley’s coffin is lowered into the ground as the sound of bagpipes can be heard. Then as the bagpipes stop you hear a voice coming from the ground saying “Hello?” accompanied by a knocking sound.
A few giggles can be heard as some figured out the joke quicker than others.
“Let me out, it’s f***ing dark in here!” Bradley’s voice from beyond the grave can be heard saying.
Giggles and laughter broke out throughout the crowd. They were sad at their loss, sure, but this joke was one more reminder of all the joy and laughter they had shared with their grandfather, father, brother, and friend.
Then he sings Neil Diamond!
As the funeral goers are having a laugh at Bradley’s hilarious posthumous joke, Bradley’s voice begins to sing. He starts to belt out the words to the appropriate song, “Hello Again” by Neil Diamond.
What a wonderful surprise this Irish grandfather had planned for his family. He likely knew that many would be sad that he was no longer with them but hearing Bradley have a joke at the expense of his own death likely lifted their hearts and helped them overcome the loss.

Video of Bradley’s final prank has been shared by people worldwide. It almost makes you wish that he was still alive to see just how many people got in a good laugh at his joke. It was a wonderful way to say goodbye to the people he knew and the world he lived in.
Several viewers of the video felt compelled to leave a comment.
